Finally the CL starts again. Lyon drew 2-2 at Caen today.

Important game of course, I think we will continue to see rotation

..................Ederson
..Walker...Stones...Laporte...Mendy
................Fernandinho
........Gundogan......Bernardo
..Mahrez.......Aguero......Sterling

Think Aguero will be fine for this. Stones to come back in, leave Kompany and Otamendi for the Cardiff away.

Bernardo needs to keep his place in midfield after his masterclass today with David resting.

Looking forward to 3 points on Wednesday.

Aguero seemed to look uncomfortable midway through the first half with a stretch and didn't look the same after, give him a rest and give jesus a start and Mahrez needs as much time with the team as possible as he's not looking on the same wave length yet

Not too much rotation, should be a comfortable enough win with that side, too early in the season for heavy rotation, win our first 4 then we can rest players for the last two

Would like to see Foden at some point if we are comfortably ahead. He needs game time.
Mahrez needs time too as I feel he’s just trying too hard and stuck in his Leicester game play. When he gets his first goal, I think he’ll blossom.

Would be more like this in possession:
.....................Ederson
.........Walker....Stones....Laporte
....................Gündogan
Mahrez....Bernardo.....D Silva....Mendy
.................Jesus......Sterling

Mendy is out injured for a few weeks...

Where is the link for this info?

Reported he suffered a knock in training pre -game but nothing about how long he will be out for.

Can't recall Pep saying anything of note and nothing on physio which has Kuns ankle complaint already posted.
