FC United Thread

Over reached themselves too early.

They forgot that most of the teams in National North and above have been around a lot longer, already had their own grounds etc. and knew how the system works at that level.

Whenever I see the name Nuneaton Borough the only thing I can think of is Paul Sugrue, another player that had no right being near the club no matter how shite we were doing.

if FCUM go tits up then there will be ques at OT confession boxes with father fergie doing the service, and he will be asking them to repent their sins and ask for forgiveness by handing them green and gold scarfs back in, and paying a premium on there seasons ticket if they can find any room at OT with it being fully booked each week, and father fergie will have to pray to the good lord and world famous ticket tout bobby charlton and if he can come up with tickets, so pray and say 10 hail mary browns and 10 our fathers tommy docherty and 3 pat crerand

More fun and comedy at Pallet Park – allegedly the club have had 42 applicants apply for the managersjob - of which they have accepted 19 of them. And whilst one fan is pretty damning of the current situation, there is the usual round of delusional rags in the vicinity……

We don't have anyone with experience of football matters at the club – It’s that simple. Despite repeated attempts to co-opt someone we are utterly clueless at the one thing people come to see us for. We don't even really know the criteria for appointing someone, let alone who to appoint.
Following that, we don't have any money to offer a new manager - Either their wages or a transfer kitty.
Following that we have a CEO who is deserting us - Would you take a job on when your manager was on the way out?
Following that we are rock bottom and look a dead cert for relegation playing some truly atrocious football with bang average players.

Was out with old friends Sunday catching up usual banter when talking about big united and the other lot then the conversation turns to FC the questions always the same when the position of manager came up & a few names mentioned one was Brian Kidd Collyhurst born manager skills piss this league if only just a dream

So Brian, you're 69 years old, do you want to give up £500k a year for carrying bags and occasionally being made to wear silly clothes whilst travelling abroad to manage a non league team for a bit of beer money ?

£500K a year for carrying bags wearing silly clothes whilst travelling abroad is what he gets for City!!!!!!
Fact Manchester born United player (£500k ?) not sure if he drinks these days, can't hurt to ask though

As for Brian Kidd Mourinho's approached him twice since taking over at OT to join him there, and he's turned down both approaches, most recently this summer, to stay at City.
But yes, he'd really jump at the chance of FCwouldn't he....

getting somebody on a community order and tag maybe the best option for FCUM a court ordering somebody to do the job is there only chance and joey barton comes to mind, but he is at fleetwood at this moment in time but i have a feeling he could be ready to jump ship if the right court case comes up

I met two lads from Halifax int the pub after the match, one supported Chelsea ! and the other was a fcum. I was trying to take the piss but he accepted that they are likely to go belly up. He stated he would sack football altogether when that happens. (At least he didnt say he would return to the raggies) I asked why he wouldnt go and support his local team Halifax but he said live football was dead (if you see what I mean) and he would just watch it on the tele.
To be fair he was a decent lad. (nurse my medication please) Nice to see their fans are accepting the inevitable.

I still can’t get my head around football is dead, will watch non league but not their local non league team.

Is it something to do with none of them supported their local team in the first place.

1,300 there today - and they have to share the gate money. So another loss making game..... tick tock.....

I thought the marginson and all the hangers on had left ? so who do they have to share the money with ? oh right, yep, got you.half goes to the 'Recruit Brian Kidd Fund' aka 'pays for another holiday fund'.

It is a game on the telly they crave for (oh the irony) as it will see them clear for the rest of the season financially.

you could not make it up could you hahaha they are all hoping for a big money tv game in the cup haha everything they despise in the game they hang all there hope on

They'll have to get to the 1st round proper for much TV money, won't they? That's two more round wins.

I can't find a payment for this stage, but as it's web-stream mostly, it can't be much.

I might pop over to Haringey Borough for the 3QR; my local team went out in the 1stQR in front of a crowd of literally dozens.

Nuneaton away tmz. Home win please.
Put the splitters on the bottom and keep a foot on the throats of that corrupt bunch of cash grabbing scrotes.
