Save Our Peg

IMO this will come down to money, looking at how much they will lose by their position in league against the sum they will have to pay to get rid. I think he will survive a little longer ( hope I dont put the kiss of death on the thread)

I'm delighted to hear that, apparently, a rousing song in support of the special one went around the stadium today. That warms the cockles of my heart, that does. And to think; some of the less intelligent on here still want to see our quiet neighbours lose every game.

*shakes head*

It was a loud one and I'm pretty sure the United fans were embarrassed to be watching that.

The fans at the Etihad chanted "Don't sack Mourinho" followed by a deafening "Jose Mourinho, we want you to stay!"

Valencia, we know you’re better than United, but please, for the love of our peg, score an own goal or something!!!!

Agreed. People mocked when this campaign started; it's now hitting home what the implications of "The Special One"™ getting the bullet might be The fuckers might actually get someone in who knows what they're doing. Hats off to our fans at the game yesterday for the pro Mourinho chants. Nice work lads and lasses.

It was a stirring show of support.

There is but one hope now and it was mentioned on the Radio 5 football phone-in (606) last night: the Glaziers will not want to cough up £28 million. They will wait until Utd cannot mathematically get into the C.L. next season before he gets the chop as that will save £££s. (As happened with Moyes).

Now, if they drop out of the group stage of the big Cup - but above Young Boys, then go deep into the Europa cup - which is a back door pass into the CL. He could be there till Feb/March, even with the team in the bottom half of the Prem.

I would love it if that happened, just love it. (cheers Kev Keegan).

The twat will be lucky to see this month out.

No no, think positively. This campaign -unlike the others- MUST be successful. Peg has to stay to finish the job. He needs more time to destroy the cnuts, more time to embarrass them, more time to lose them money and turn them into a team battling against relegation every season.
For the work he's doing there the man should be lauded, not chastised.

Stay there, Portugese Pulis. Stay there for many many years to come. We love you.

But what if it came down to a choice between the PEG and the BFS?

Oh decisions, decisions...

i can see united giving garden leave to jose, so he can wake up and smell the roses ??? he knows they (united) are working behind is back in talking to zidane and jose is a very clever in leaving united in such a mess in midtable with no chance of top 6 never mind top 4, that game vs west ham says everything you need to know the players have down tools and want him out right now
