Liverpool (A) Post Match Thread

He didn't, he said the ref favoured the home side ( which he did) , referred to him missing numerous yellow card offences and highlighted a couple of other incidents, one he referred to as debatable.

Which is the most ironic thing in it, if he is mentioning yellow cards missed why wasn't Fernandinhos numerous ones mentioned? Oh because the worlds against us, every ref and every media broadcast. The ref was fine and the fact people are still moaning suggests it will never matter how a ref performs as they're all out to get us zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

It's been all of a minute and pigeonho hasn't liked your post yet. Standards slipping.

Numerous ones Tom? He commited four fouls, one of which was the free Van Dijk got when he handled the ball, which wasn't eveb a free let alone a potential yellow. So 3 fouls that may or may not have been yellows is numerous is it?

The refs almost always give the home side the benefit of the doubt, particularly at Anfield and that's what the poster referred to, he never declared he was shit.

His post wasn't a simple "the ref favoured the home side" he went out of his way to list decisions that went against us whilst ignoring decisions that went for us. If you consider Bernardo got booked for his first foul the numerous committed by Fernandinho should have resulted in action. There was one in the second half where he was near the left back position, biggest block and foul you'll see in your life. Before anything happened both Neville and Tyler said surely he's getting booked now. That's not because of some big agenda between the two, it is because they have eyes and have seen how the game has gone.

It was and he highlighted two incidents, one of which he said was debatable, page 117 Tom, take a look.

2 Roma fans on trial at Preston crown court today - allegedly involved in trouble before the semi-final leg at Anfield - but after a six month investigation into the disorder at the corresponding CL fixture involving City - no arrests - always the victims

It's not about me,take it up with the player if you think he is lying
Nothing whatsoever to do with transfer fees or salaries , Jorginho was waiting to see where Sarri was going because he preferred to play for the same coach , no doubt if Sarri had ended up at a club like Arsenal who havent won anything of merit for years he would have chosen us . But Sarri ended up at Chelsea a club with an excellent trophy winning record , if we had bid £100m he wasnt coming to play for us if Sarri got a top club job , Jorginho has stated as much in a recent interview . Soriano has made mistakes during his tenure but this transfer was not his fault or the fault of the clubs transfer policy. No matter what you think , the player and his agent make the final decision ,when a club agrees a fee for a player the player has the last say , ever wondered why Zinchenko is still at our club ? We agreed a fee with Wolves and the player turned down the move.
That's your opinion I respect it.

By the way Tixi does the transfers ;)

Find it hilarious that all the scouse press are towing the line that all we did was pay them a massive complement. Not that Pep sussed out how to successfully shut them out the game at their own griubd, whilst creating the best goalscoring chances even though we didnt create the usual amount, and klopp for all his hype didnt have a clue how to change it

Pathetic bubble they live in

Some dickheads on rawk saying we parked the bus - to me parking the bus is stringing 7 men across the 18 yard box for 90 minutes - a tactic we have seen many times in our home games - what we did was control the tempo from the start for virtually the entire game - there’s a big difference between the two

What disorder. Sorry you are mistaken, nothing to see here, move along.

They were tourists.

Even your (one sided) contrary posts suggest he was anything but "fine", I totally agree about Fernandhino by the way, who got away with more than he normally does without getting a yellow.

Atkinson was shite if we're all being honest. He missed a number of decisions for both sides, I thought marginally more in their favour than ours, you thought the opposite, but he was anything other than "fine", as your own posts allude to.

Even Hackett admitted he missed two penalties for us

Skewed reporting to sell to skewed fans.
Telling them the City version is unlikely to be well received in Lpool.

Couple of the other media refs said Atkinson got them spot on. Opinions eh - though I tend to respect Keith Hackett's opinion more than most of them.

I'm pretty much with @cleavers on this one. Didn't think he had a great game, Liverpool probably got slightly the better of the decisions.
