Helicopter crash involving Leicester City owners

Said on other reports it carries 8 including the pilots.
Max capacity is 13 comprising of 2 crew, can be operated with 1, and 11 passengers.

Very tragic hopefully no one on the ground was involved Thoughts are with all those involved friends and relatives and all those connected with Leicester City FC

Always wondered about the wisdom of operating an helicopter into and out of a stadium

Just confirmed on Talksport that the owner was definitely in attendance for the match but his son, the vice chairman, wasn't.

Video doing the rounds on twitter of the take off now. Why the pilot doesn’t set it down is beyond me, was clearly having trouble.

Reports say problem with tail rotor, if that was the case the pilot wouldn’t stand a chance as the aircraft would just start to spin

Like most, if you are not qualified you really wouldn’t know, all will be revealed but it’s always so sad.

This thread is discussing a (probably) very tragic accident following a football match, whether or not the posts broke the rules, we don't want them on this thread.

Can't argue with that but, in the interests of balance I've just seen a tweet from mufc the club saying thoughts and prayers are with all @ Leicester.

Eyewitness account just been given on 5live, he said a police office was trying to get the door open but was forced back by the flames, then followed an explosion. Apparently another witness has related how a police office tried to break the window in order to release people, heartbreaking. From the photos I've seen of it on fire it seemed to be almost upside down on the ground.
