Vardy was offside so shouldn’t have been penalty & red anyway. But to support your argument, the officials missed that too

Blame the laws of the game for having no flexibility.The referee was left in avery awkward position as his expression displayed,had he not booked him then he would probably have been sat with his feet up,or found himself officiating at FC Rag,next week.

Going forward......Common sense/discretion needs to be introduced,as,occasionally,like yesterday,some incidents and decisions warrant special consideration.

Personally speaking though,and putting myself in proberts size 9's.......i'm pretty sure i'd have kept the yellow in my pocket and taken any subsequent disciplinary action squarely on the chin because sometimes doing the right thing is far more important than any fucking rule book.
