Sane, David and Aguero all played very well.

You know you are shite cannon fodder if Pep starts Mendy and Sane against you.

Let's play them both against the rags.

I have to agree. I also said in the match day thread that he just isn’t a very good defender. He is surprisingly weak in the tackle and does get caught out of position for too often. He needs to concentrate as he is putting way too much pressure on his centre backs.

other than that, top performance again.
 
Good result in a game that was more akin to basketball than football at times; shame de Bruyne was injured as these are the games he loves. Fair play to Hughes, however, for continuing to have a go, and at times we were very exposed on both flanks. Thought Sterling played well but Bernardo was near faultless.

So can I but he has to work harder before he gets to that level. I see him wandering back sometimes from an offside position like Ronaldo and occasionally waving away his team mates apologies of a bad pass. He's part of an outstanding squad and I just hope he keeps improving, increases his goal rate.

Not only skilful & entertainig but the team & subs showed great desire with workrate to the end.

My main problem these days is who of the squad do i love the most, all playing amazingly. Augero was brilliant today,everywhere. Sane and unselfish Sterling were on song. Defensively we re improved on last year, the team looks tastier and better organised as a unit.

Sterling was class today so was Dinho. Little worried about Mendy as he still is making simple errors near our box which led to good amount of counterattacks.
In other news, just enjoying the bitterness that the rags are showing on ragcafe. They are so jealous about our football that the only thing they talk about is our spending. I don't remember if they spent a penny ever, everything came out of their academy I suppose. Enjoying the bitterness nonetheless.
 
Long drive home for Southampton and their fans, to be fair to them, they won’t be the only team getting their balls parted from you this season.

If I was on a saints supporter bus home I would buy a large quantity of alcohol.

happens after every big win..... Talksport true to form are talking about the gap between clubs in the Premier Always happens, always starts with the top 6 being too rich then filters down to being just city's fault.
