Anthony Taylor (of Altrincham)

I’m 50 next week so making this weekend the one I go on the piss with mates after the game, all booked Monday off so if this ****s cheats us again this weekend.....
Mine next week too.
Was going to go on holiday for a couple of weeks with it being international week. But thought not as we’d miss the derby. Wished I’d booked the holiday now. I can see us shafted by a bent **** anytime.

He was actually a Sunderland fan at school but who cares. We should be good enough to win this anyway.

As well as the Wigan game and Chelsea games already mentioned, he also reffed the 3- 1 defeat by Leicester in Pellegrini’s last season and the 2-2 draw with Arsenal that had the rags beat West Ham would have cost us a CL place for Peps first season. I can’t recall contentious decisions in those but who knows!
I am not a fan of Taylor and we need to be on our A game to take him out of the equation.

I just don't like the feel of this at all. All the talk in the run up to the derby has been about City applying the dark arts, Ferna being the smiling assassin etcetera. Next we get the rag Taylor in charge who has given some dubious decisions against us to say the least. I am dreading it.

Fret ye not! We will still smash them in spite of the 2 red cards, 3 penalties, and 4 incorrectly flagged offside goals that come our way.

Really? I'm out of touch then, I thought it was in Cheshire! I know Wythenshawe is part in Trafford and part not.
That does make the appointment more odd than I thought.

As someone born and bred in Wythenshawe I can confirm that it has been in and part of the city of Manchester since 1931, when Manchester purchased the land off Cheshire to build the mainly council housing estate of Wythenshawe.
No part of Wythenshawe is in Trafford or anywhere else. It is in Manchester.

Some rag bellend (so called) reporter in the MUEN saying hes from the 'Red Stronghold Whythenshawe'. Fuckin bellend ! And surely somebody can scrape up some old videos/pictures with his Nited top on, riddled with spagetti hoops stains !

Is there a Withen Shore somewhere on the Essex coast that he is getting mixed up with?

Altrincham hasn’t been in Cheshire for nearly half a century since they created Greater Manchester and moved the Cheshire border down to the River Bollin instead of the River Mersey.

Correct!! As an ex Benchill lad myself I can confirm on my address it had Manchester 22.

Alty. Historically always played home games when the rags were away. Renowned for it. I could never join my rag mates for an afternoon on the alty, as I was at maine road when they were at home. Bigger crowds, same scarf, more cash on the turnstile.
Not sure now if that's still the case with computer generated fixture lists and all, though was certainly the case in the olden days...

Last premier league game Anthony officiated at the Etihad was the Chelsea game that ended in a fight. With two City players sent off and no Chelsea players. The fight was a culmination of what had gone before. The main decision he had bottled was the sending off that Luiz should have got when checked off Aguero when he was last man.
The last City match Anthony was in charge of was Wigan away in the cup. Where he sent Delph off after being persuaded by the Wigan players to do so. Even though he had already started writing down Delph's booking on his yellow card.
