City, PSG and other clubs appear to have made a mockery of FFP

FFP doesn't need any help from City, PSG etc. to be made a mockery of. Any regulation that favours an owner who loads a club with debt and leeches money from football, over an owner who invests in football and the community, is quite capable of making a mockery of itself

It's interesting that in the opinion of some of the media falling over accidentally is considered more of a classless act of cheating than deliberately falling over to give the appearance of a trip and decieve a ref. Of course only foreigners do this which provides further evidence that Raheem just isn't one of us.

So we ban every media outlet apart from the ones we have to have with sky/bt would City be worse of? Personally I think we don’t need them and now with it mainly being about clicks they only chasing the things like the sterling kick in the ground not the 6-0 fantastic win! I’d fcuk them of.

I get the temptation of wanting the press banned, but it's almost always counterproductive. Ferguson's refusal to talk to the BBC just got highlighted on a weekly basis, and after this week, to do so would just invite endless (and not legally restricted) articles about City having something to hide. The media close ranks when someone bans a journalist, for obvious reasons. They'd really go to town if City did that.

The behind the scenes approach does work. Not to make the coverage nice and friendly, but because anything else and you'd really see unfriendly coverage.

Close ranks what they dining now? We don’t need them.

Why do that when you can quote:
Paul Merson

If Pep stays at City long-term, which is not a given as things can change quickly in football, then the power is with City. My slight worry with City is that there are no youngsters coming through. Phil Foden does not get a game, Jadon Sancho left - and City are not the youngest team in the world. If Pep had brought three or four kids through, then you would be thinking 'wow' but they have got the ammunition to buy the ready-made player.

Not the youngest team and no young players coming through you say?

He’s not the brightest, he does his best though.

How many players in our strongest 11/18 are aged 25 or under?

Maybe 6 and 9 on an average week?

And a bundle of guys at their peak and 3 or 4 older heads.

Between Merson and big nose it’s not been a good, accurate, insightful or useful output from Sky Sports so far this weekend

Bloody hell thought I would go on their site for footy news and instead of going to man city bit went on football news and clicked on classic city v rags derby pics. All were pics of goals scored by rags and non of ours. Proper outraged.

Mirror is well known as a rag comic.

They also try and court Liverpool fans knowing they won't buy The Sun.

Median age of all players making an appearance in our 6-1 win over Soton (including a certain player that apparently never gets a game):

24.5 years

Median age of all players making an appearance in our 6-0 win over Shakhtar (a much changed side):

27 years

They would be circumventing 659m potential clicks if they showed a picture of Fowler goading them lot after scoring or the like..........
