Would love to see Foden come in for Bernardo but I believe Pep will plump for Gundogan.

...................Ederson............
Walker/Danilo Otamendi Laporte Delph
..................Fernandinho...........
.........Gundogan. .........D.Silva..
Stetling.....................................Sane.
.......................Aguero.......................

Muric. Foden. Stones. Kompany. Mahrez. Jesus. Danilo/Walker.

Should still be ok with Gundogan in there, contrary to popular belief on here he’s still a hell of a player.

When are the players who weren't on international duty expected back? Is Sergio still cavorting in L.A.?

EDERSON

WALKER
STONES
LAPORTE
DELPH

FERNANDINHO
D.SILVA
GUNDAGON

STERLING
AGUERO
SANE

Personally I’d give Foden a start in this game if Bernardo is injured. Got to trust him at some point. I doubt he will play but with Lyon to come, I can’t see Gundogan playing twice in a few days.

Agreed. Gundo is class. We nust have all the best wine. See the way he controlled the cross to score against the rags.

Shame about Bernardo if he's out but Gundogan is a class player and I'm sure the derby goal will have done his confidence the world of good.

Can't see bernardo's injury being too serious but if theres any doubts we should give him a weeks rest with some tough games coming up.

Gundogan is a capable replacement he's just not in the same league as bernardo silva or kdb in terms of creativity, he's more of a late runner who keeps things ticking over. That's fine, it's just when he plays the problem becomes theres a heavier burden on his midfield partner, in this case Silva, to be the architect of our creativity which in turn makes the oppositions job easier at least in theory, as if they're smart they'll aim to shackle Silva which would go a long way to limiting or effectiveness.

Luckily, I don't think West Ham have the players or the mindset to execute that kind of tactic so we should be fine this weekend just get them fit for Chelsea.
