Guardiola hints to his future extending at City

I can see him moving to Italy once he's done here, coaching a team that will give him money to work with - Inter or AC Milan perhaps if they do.

Maybe one more year extension after this present one is done.

More out of love and appreciation to City than anything else.

His lad is quite the student and they will relocate to the country where he goes to Uni.

Let's hope between that time, the lad meets a proper Manc lass like Kompany and then all bets are off.

As Pep had previously referenced, it's more a cultural experience for him now and he says won't ever manage again in England.

He has more money than he can spend in three lifetimes.

It would not surprise me if he goes to South America and the romantic in him takes the Brazil national team.

He would officially be Don for an entire nation.

Whenever that sad day comes, the reality will be, we will never have it so good ever again, certainly from as aesthetic footballing view.

Genius.

I like and dislike this post in equal measure.

I can see him managing Brazil.... I can also see him as Director of Football with us or Barca. As you say we’ll never have it this good again - so we should enjoy every minute of our glorious football just now and really appreciate it. We will look back on these days in the future as the golden era.

Always imagined a Director of Football Emeritus post for him in the CFG. Taking his football throughout the entire group's system from top to bottom. A worldwide structure of Guardiola-Ball from the bottom up to create players, trainers, managers and coaches at all agegroups...

It's a unique prospect which can only be offered by City.

I hope that Pep is content at our club. His past comments when leaving a managerial role have always been about seeking new challenges - having accomplished all that he can at his current club. Were those comments political? And whether or not, is Pep still energized at City?

I hope that Pep remains our manager for at least 3 more years - I'm sure that our management will do whatever it takes to make this possible.

I need to borrow some of Jim's wanking gifs to show how much i like this post.

I knew it right after that second time he wore his same sweater . Now he doesn’t want to swap for another one . Pep is loyal to his sweater just like he is to city .

He has full backing of the club.
He is playing his own brand of football with great players.
He is ripping up the hardest league in the world.
Where else would tempt him over the next 4 years?

I think he is probably more content now, than he has ever been. The whole organisation is set up for his and our success. He has trusted people that he has known in the top positions in the group, and I think it is clear this whole journey was set up with Pep in mind years ago. Now the planets have aligned, and us supporters are reaping the benefit, with the brand of football we are seeing. I hope long may it continue, but believe he will set up the organisation correctly, for his eventual move to wherever.

I know for a fact his kids adore Manchester.
My friend's daughter gets the bus to school with Pep's daughter Valentina. She's one of her best friends. You wouldn't suspect anything, really grounded and pleasant and taught to appreciate life as Pep tells his players to realise how fortunate they are.

It's my observation that Pep likes the lack of publicity. If he was coaching in Barcelona, London etc. paparazi would be around 24/7 which he would hate. You could bump into Pep in the city centre and probably have a normal conversation with him for a few minutes.

The perfect marriage.Fate has served both him and us brilliantly.

While genuinely being the stuff of nightmares for the rats of Stretford.
Watched it in a half red, half blue pub yesterday. My local. Fucking funny hearing them on their side when we were cheering our goals. Their demeanour was a sight to behold. It genuinely felt like roles reversed from May 1999 when they were dominating everything and we were shit. The penny has certainly dropped.

I like how he lets his daughter get the bus to school. That’s some quality right there.
Pep is a Mancunian.
