If his methods continue to work at City, I recon anyone who tries to tempt him away will find it difficult. If his magic wears off, he will see it quickly & leave. He likes to live in different places, but he has a lifetime after football, to do that. He can get to anywhere in the world pretty quickly from here, for a quick visit, as can his family.
And so far as international football is concerned, then if he stays true to his word, it would have to be Spain or an independant Catalonia. If you look at the Spanish football authorities increased hostility toward City since Pep started being successful, I think it will be a cold day in hell when they offer him the national job.
If he struggled here for a couple of seasons, it would probably give him itchy feet, or if he didn't see a challenge. But the way things are looking now, it would appear that there is more likelihood of Pep staying beyond his current contract, than not. Especially if the ground is being enlarged etc.
He has the chance to become our Cruyff & that must surely appeal to him, no matter what he admits in public.
