Nice song but some people aren’t making other plans. ‘Live for today’ or ‘live life to the max’ or worse ‘live each day like it’s your last’ are just silly platitudes. The future is much bigger than the present though, so we should definitely plan for it, that part makes sense.

Try and do both. I couldn’t really afford one of my last three trips away but I’m glad I did them as they were great. I’m also banging money away and researching other ideas for the future.

At 38, I’m of the age where people of my generation are dying now. It’s changed me.
