Pep’s priority is the Premier League as he has made clear many many times.

Yeah. Could be a tricky night tomorrow but I still expect us to come through fine. Every players seems to understand their role when they come in.

Love to see foden get a start. And with KDB, Bernardo and Gundogan out, if he doesn't start an 'important' game now, it would appear Pep doesn't quite trust him fully yet.

Pep will want to win the group,does that happen if we win this game?

Yup,i think he does think that,because every press conference he does in the CL,he bangs on about Barca,Madrid,Rags and Liverpool having history with it,but it is new to us,making us sound inferior.

Well let's get it won,and make a mark in the comp,as I'm sure the owner would like that very much.

Yep. A draw means we’re through but will still need a point against Hoffenheim to guarantee top spot

yeah 3 points puts us well clear. A draw means we need a point from the last game to guarantee top (based on Lyon winning their last game)

His reasoning is also sound. Many times he’s said that to win the league, you have to be the best team in the country but to win the CL, you need to have a lot of luck and correct decisions and no 15 minutes periods that get away from you. He’s also said the best team doesn’t always win the CL.

The only people that parrot the narrative that the CL is the reason we employed Pep are journalists on podcasts. He’s here for domestic domination and the CL is a bonus. He’s never once said anything different.

Don't get me wrong,I'll take PL over CL all day long,but sooner or later the owner will want to see the CL in our arms.

I also believe we can achieve domestic domination,but he doesn't,again in the pressers he talks about it being so hard to win the league as well,so many good sides,blah,blah,well we made a mockery of the league last season,and no reason why we can't do so again this season

In the interview he did with sky at the end of the season before ratboy could even finish asking him which is more important to him the prem or the CL he said to win several prem titles so sweep is right
No manager is going to say this league is a piece of piss to win because it's not so what do you expect him to say?
