Pep on if Aguero will be ready to face Watford: "We will see the day after tomorrow. We do not want to take any risks. If Sergio becomes injured we will lose him for a long number of days and we can’t afford to do that."

Potentially a tough game, I'll take any kind of win.

If Sergio is not 100% it gives Jesus a chance to play himself into some scoring form. He is so hardworking and has such good technique that the goals will come.
I agree. Jesus has goals in him, just seems he's a bit tense in front of goal at the moment.(as Sterling once was) The goals will come for Gabby, and fortunately we have goalscorers all over the pitch.

Fernandinho must get a rest at some time. Tuesday may be that time, keeping him fresh for Stamford Bridge.

For me, the next best replacement there for him - and a very good one at that - is Gundogan. He was class when Fernandinho was out last season in that position yet he gets played as an attacking midfielder where he's our 4th best player there plus the fact that he's in ahead of Foden who, long term, has more potential than him. Delph and Stones aren't as good as Gundogan in CDM imo (and are far better for us played at LB and CB) yet I think Pep sees them as alternatives before Gundogan from what he said the other day.

Not that I would rest him on Tuesday but if Fernandinho was rested, I'd have no qualms whatsoever about Ilkay playing that role.

Win this, and we will be 19 points ahead of the rags (the (mind the) GAP of last season), even if only for 24 hours. I was told we'd never finish that far ahead of them ever again (we still might not obviously), but it will only be December 6th on Thursday, so if we are, its well worth rubbing it in.

I think Pep will start Gabby and save Sergio for Chelsea.

Watford has lost some of its offensive clout lately and Capoue is suspended. The way our defensive line held against a more-attack minded Bournemouth today, it all bodes well for Tuesday.
