I’m a celebrity!

My example which no one wants to respond to is Gemma Collins was exactly the same as Anne. Fat and lazy. She got pelters because she’s a ditzy Essex reality star. Anne has autism so everyone needs to wipe her arse and treat her like a child. Commenting on her doesn’t mean it’s grinding your gears, my question is why is she there when she’s really quite irrelevant. She offers absolutely nothing yet weirdos perceive that as entertainment? Producers didn’t think oh she will be boring and do nothing that will get everyone going. They’re probably disappointed in her input. The ones they pick are the annoying ones who stir it up for the entertainment.

Majority of this thread other than Karen (sums it up perfectly for me) think the same along with many people I know who watch it.

Put it this way, her character on the chase will be laughed at moving forward. She’s meant to be stern and scary, they will ask her to get off her chair and she will have kittens.

I don’t agree with you at all
I think it’s very brave of her to be there in the first place
She’s autistic, bound to be very conscious of her size and is way out of her comfort zone but hasn’t thrown the towel in
The whole experience will be far easier for the younger & mentally and physically fitter ones to overcome

I've never seen the Chase, so maybe that's where your issue lies, you're disappointed that she's not ordering everyone about and being generally authoritative, she's done a trial on her own, voted for by the public, she did well in that trial, just like Sair did in the one task she has performed.

Tbf they've just lost out on that wee challenge because they didn't want to go against Anne despite their own personal survey indicating the correct answer.

Soft touches.

Not at all, I didn't expect that character to go in, if anything it harms her career that's all as everyone knows that isn't her, not just that but she is the complete opposite and a wuss. She done well on the one she got 7 in, would be nice for her to not say I'm a celebrity get me out of here like she has done on everything she has done though. I can't stand Sair but she was brilliant on her trial and puts herself forward for stuff. Most people do but Anne and that's where the disappointment lies that she does bugger all.

Here's a question if John comes back into camp but can't actually do much would you think it is pointless him being there? If he can't take part in trials and do anything around the camp I am sure people would think what's the point. That is with being actually injured, that's what Anne does now without there being a reason for it.

Hasn't thrown the towel in, other than on every trial she has attempted. Harry Redknapp is 71 years old and attempts everything so lets not bring age or fitness into it. The only reason why she hasn't walked is the others being so supportive, she has been given a free pass to do very little. I also imagine if you walk you don't get your fee so there is that motivation too. It is nothing against her personally there is just no point in her being there, we have become a society that is too scared to say it how it is now. I bet the majority of you don't watch big brother (I don't either) and I bet your reason is because you don't want to watch someone sat doing nothing all day, I give you Anne.

Karen has an insight into autism and is seeing someone who is chalenging themselves, if you understand the condition then you understand how life works for them, what some posters are confusing is seeing someone who is overweight rather than someone who has a disability that causes poor choices.
I'm sure the critical posters have never met a high functioning autistic person or seen the sad day to day life they experience where ignorance however unmeaning hurts.
Anne will leave eventually and will have given her fellow celebrities a look into a world of an autistic person who means no harm to anyone, she lives in a world of kindness that only those close will ever understand.
I hope Anne's time in the jungle is a happy experience for her and well done Karen on your post's.

Her autism doesn't make her lazy (which she is). Her job in camp is to "observe" the fire and do nothing else.

My favourite moment from her was when they were competing for immunity a few days ago. If I remember rightly the conversation went something like;

"These celebrities are safe, the rest of you will compete against each other for immunity"
Anne "Fuck that"
"You will also win yourself food"
Anne "Maybe I'll give it a go"

Anne **sees exercise bike**
Anne "Fuck That"

You'd be quite wrong.
