Think there's a blue on fighting talk this morning? Answered a question about transport to a sporting event by saying he's getting the hype train to Bournemouth which is backed up by a replacement bandwagon full of British media to watch Liverpool. Then hopping on the gravy train to watch City play beautiful football at Chelsea. He couldn't be bothered watching United as they are off the Rails.

Oh it’s about us alright. ‘They’re on another planet’. ‘They’re a phenomenon’. ‘This is the best football the league has seen’.
They’re just a tiny fragment of conversation I read or hear from the press every week after another enthralling victory. Yet hear this morning are posters saying the ‘who can stop City’ tag, the eve of playing Chelsea, is a negative!! I mean fuck me!! That’s the biggest praise ANY of us could ever have imagined.
The articles are always about the opposition, not us. I understand the question they're asking, but not the reason why it was never asked of others who have dominated for far longer. Anything else is usually a moronic article on train journeys or something to try unsettling the team before a big game.

It must be a gloomy world you live in.

Never before have I heard a club lauded for its football like ours was last season and continues to this season. Yes the established clubs get a prolonged happy go lucky approach by some, but the word is there why that is - established. That’s fading though where united are concerned, massively so. What was it that was on TS in the week? Are united now just another team in the league? They’re not of course, well not yet anyways, but they’re on the way. Bet you’d never hear a sports radio station ask that eh? If and when we decline they might ask the same, but that’s some way off yet.
If we prolonged this success for a generation, maybe 100% of the press we get will suffice those who want to read everything about us that was once said about united. Who knows?

Those who continue to find negatives right now though, I believe, will never be satisfied or will always think something is said begrudgingly or whatever.

It’s funny how we are, to others, portrayed as the media darlings. What was it uniteds fans called the media? ABU’s? I learned what that meant on here. Maybe we’ve spawned a generation of ABC’s?

Was travelling back from a business trip on Wednesday. Had talkshite on because goldstein was missing. Some northern sounding bloke standing in. They were discussing top 6 and he said words to the effect of "You can't count City because that's just a freak situation".
Wonder if that would have been said had any other top 6 club been there?
The PL title race without City happened last season.
I was surprised the bookies did not have odds excluding the favourite as per their horse racing style.

Actually, what I heard was a change in narrative from assessing how good we were to 'but they haven't won back-to-back titles so can't can't be considered a great Premier League side' or the like.

Don't remember the invincibles retaining the title (who were a great side in my opinion).............

Even Wio got in on the act today stating we're the most entertaining side in PL history.

Sky(?) ran a bit this week about how united fans feel about being a B list club now :)

This very true just listen to any game we play. It is always the opposition should be doing this or that to beat us.

If disliking the attacks and negative output about the club I support is a gloomy outlook on life in your view, so be it. I listened to a mainstream Irish podcast where the hosts announced City leading 2-0 at Watford was the worst possible way they could start the programme. If that's the sort of output that makes your day, have a nice one.

Makes my day, I just laugh at the ****s.

Absolutely spot on RB.

Don’t bother with the football media anymore.

It always has been and always will be geared towards United, Liverpool and Arsenal. Chelsea as well to an extent.

Exactly, and with the offside rule apparently not applying to Liverpool today, we know what the answer is.
Earlier in 1st half more salad had another one in his favour by the same lino ..... 2 decisions that would have been reversed at the other end
