I think that's actually the best way for them to do it.

They have a lot of players who need to be assessed under a new manager before the summer, and it would be silly to jump into a permanent appointment when no one extraordinary is available.

A caretaker for 6 months, presumably someone from with and that someone will be under qualified. It could go tits up in a big way
