Leicester (League Cup) - Post Match Thread.

That was a really strange game it really was. Some cracking performances from the kids ( Garcia and foden) but some absolutely horrible performances by some others.

Overall, lots of positives. Semi final, foden, Garcia, kev is back, serg gets his usual shit game after injury out of his system, Muric, penalty win great for team morale.
 
Through and in with a chance of a pot in February so can’t be bad.
Good to see Kev back up and running, though I did grimace with every challenge on him.
Foden is some player already and looked very good again tonight, as was Muric. Good solid performance from Garcia as well and looked very cool on the ball.
Negatives; well I know he hasn’t played much this season but not impressed with Ota just nowhere near the player he was last season. Mahrez was was a bit meh and Walker did a few brainless things as per usual.
Zinny is a good footballer but not a left back and never will be, cannot fault him for effort though.

But regardless we roll on, now let’s hope we get Burton.

And he's slow & not usually very effective going forward.

I'm wondering how much Shultz from Hoffenheim would cost. Great going forward & managed to stop our players on several 1v1s last week.

The young centre half Garcia not even worth a mention?

17yo and looking like he easily belonged and playing alongside 3 other defenders you ear marked as poor tonight, he was outstanding for me and very much in the mould that Pep wants a centre half.
 
Big pats on the back to Garcia, Foden and Muric. Excellent penalty saves by Muric and this game will give him a lot of confidence.

Mahrez had a poor game and continues to frustrate and needs to up his game. Main positive to come out of the game for me is Kev gets 70 mins and scores a superb goal. Hopefully he will be fully firing when we play the Dippers

That's not his fault, its the managers, he made one mistake tonight, and it cost a goal, but he made up for it by having huge balls to nail the 4th penalty.

He did very well considering his age yes.

Probably should get a mention, you’re right.
