I know full well he's a number 10 but if he played in goal, he'd still be expected to.save the ball, or not play there.

And nobody would cut him any slack whatsoever as a goalkeeper.

He's often our left back & he doesn't understand defending. It's daft.

Exactly, it's not as if we've thrown Aguero in there at leftback, it's pretty much the only reason he's in the squad for the past 18 months. If he's in the squad to be a leftback, then you have to judge him as a leftback and in that regard he's a liability when the ball is in the air as he completely loses his bearings and has no idea where his man is
 
I haven't read the 16 pages previous to this one, and I'm sure there is a lot of negativity, but big credit to Pep getting Garcia, Muric, Foden, Diaz and Zinchenko to be so confident in their own abilities.

Muric is so comfortable with the way we play at the back, brilliant, and so was Garcia, who really impressed me, Diaz had a great hour, Foden almost the senior player, put in a good performance, and didn't let the yellow get to him, he kept getting stuck in, and finally Zinchenko, yes he made the mistake for their goal, but he's not a left back, and had big balls to step up for the penalty, and f**king nailed it, well done lad, more than made up for the error for me.

Don't be negative tonight, be positive, but above all else look at that team spirit at the end, that is brilliant, all smiles, none of the gurning from down the M62, just smiles, amongst the whole squad, coach, and the rest of the team.
