Diaz goals in the last round quickly forgotten in the match day thread. Good win from a very young team, rested players, got minutes into Aguero and DeBruyne. Master class from Pep. And now Sterling has the balls for a chip down the middle penalty even though he cocked it up.

We’re through and no more injuries. Garcia, Kev, Diaz and Foden did well. Mahrez, Aguero and Walker were awful. Zinch is not a LB. Decent performance

Agree with most of that, except for Diaz. I thought he was poor. Played with his head down and dribbled into trouble continually. Foden was light years ahead of him. Walker was poor too, but they were both eclipsed by Mahrez. Ponced around with his gloves on and did little but give the ball away either via sloppy passes or lightweight dribbles. Decent from Garcia, but not tested unduly. Cool by Muric in the shoot out, standing his ground and putting the pressure on the taker. Overall, decent 1st half, pretty dismal 2nd half

Marhez needs to buck up and our defence? Oh dear oh dear. Otamendi is Mr Rusty, Zinchenko has lapses in concentration and Stones isn't a DM.
