When I logged on and had a look at the pre-match thread before the Chelsea game there wasn't a single person who had Jesus in their starting xi at the time of me posting, most opting for Sterling as a false 9 instead.

Fast forward 2 weeks and after one game where Jesus happened to score a couple, suddenly he's 'undroppable' in 'red hot form'.

Back to being shit again if he doesn't score this weekend obviously.

It's because we need two in form strikers for the very heavy fixture schedule ahead and up until recently we had become very reliant on Aguero. Consider in Jan and Feb we play a lot of back to back weekend, midweek games, and we will need Jesus to be in-form.

The problem is that Aguero often needs a run of games after injury to get back in the groove so do we give him those games, and knock Jesus back again, or play Jesus and keep a rusty Aguero on the shelf.

Or play both with Sane?

LFC have one world class striker. Potentially we have two. We need to nurture them both with a bit of careful management now. I'm sure Guardiola knows exactly what to do
 
Might still need Walker for this one for his pace as they will look to hit long balls on the counter for Zaha to chase.

Mahrez looks a shadow of his former self. I hope the disaster at Leicester hasn’t affected him too much.
We need to move the ball much quicker, we slow it down and allow them to regroup when we get the chance to counter.
Gabby should start, his movement and link up play lately has been great.

No need to worry about Mahrez mate. The guy is class and this will always come through in the end.
This time last year when we played Leicester in this competition lots of people were similarly not convinced about Bernardo.
 
I`m hopeful of a good win but I`d like a clean sheet. After listening to crap all week about pool and even more about rags I`d like us to really put our stamp on this league.Rags have got a few easy(ish) games so big wins for us will negate the obvious rag infested journos and their garbage that will come with any success little Ole will bring.

I would stick with Jesus and maybe play AGuero for last half hour. Thught Aguero was poor tonight. He always seems to take about 3-4 games after an injury to get going again. And Jesus is playing well.

I am wondering if David Silva might make it for this one. Supposed to be 30/12 but I wonder if he might make this game.

Sergio is our main striker so we have to get him up to speed asap,he takes a couple of games to play his way back to normal so he needs to play,i didn't mention gabby

Sergio should be coming off the bench for fitness. He looked rusty as fuck last night, Jesus should be starting. I’ll be pretty pissed off if Jesus doesn’t start, he deserves it after months of struggling. We need both of them firing, not just Sergio.

Sergio is our more reliable striker,he needs to be fit this week then rotate
