For anyone who thinks there is an agenda because It is big news that Jose gets sacked - then - seriously? Of course it’s big news and of course it is bigger than us beating Leicester away on penalties. It’s not an agenda it’s about public interest. Seems nothing on Tranmere winning away at southport and where is the news on Stockport winning 6-0 away?! Must be an agenda!! Either that or one of the most high profile managers in the world is sacked from one of the most high profile teams and that is considered to be newsworthy - more so than most other sports stories

I agree on non agenda but I don’t think the public is that interested, in fact I’ve seen a lot of people saying how bored with it they are.

Remember bbc is not a tabloid, it is supposed to bring facts to all.

Exactly why I sent them a complaint about he "hahahaha" comment on Sterlings penalty miss - I want informal reporting from the BBC - actually I won't use them again for comments, match reports etc, I'll use Sky instead and never thought I'd say that.

That’s what boils my piss but I’m not sure sky is the way.

I find myself going on betting apps just for scores/stats & form my own opinion & I don’t even have an account.

I suspect Mr Castles might be taking aim at Man Utd from now on.

This from him in his waily waily Record piece:
"Record Sport understands that a decision to dismiss the most successful Old Trafford manager of the post-Sir Alex Ferguson era was taken during a conference call on Monday."

Wouldn't want to pick the most ludicrous description now, would he? How about "manager with worst start to a season"?

Stuart Brennan wrote a great opinion piece in the Manchester Evening News. One of the best sport op-eds I have read in a long time. Just totally nails the current situation.

Most 'high profile' because of the amount of stories that appear in the media?

Anyone seen this SSN Christmas Party - has to be the most cringeworthy tv I’ve ever witnessed. It’s a shocker. The ice statue of Gareth Southgate has just blown over.... lol.

Seen it..total dross laughing when the ice statue fell over and also the part when the camera panned out to show the area and ice skate rink deserted but the news anchor said that there was 6000 people milling around the area - wtf

The first question a journo (didn't catch who) asked Pep in today's presser was about the paper boy. He tried to work in that Pep also managed a team he played for in an attempt to make it semi-relevant. Pep, as always, answered politely but I would have answered "This is a Manchester City press conference. Why are you asking questions about Manchester United. United are irrelevant to City. Next question." We can but dream (sigh).

Well, then you'd have had huge back page headlines like "United are irrelevant: Guardiola" or "Irrelevant: Pep lashes United" etc etc.
