It’s the WC. Remember, we had more players there than anyone else. Not just physically but these players are mentally shattered as well.
You still quoting this bollox. Spurs had far more players in the later stages of WC.

Problem with Delph is his composure. Saw it in the documentary as well. He lost it after the Liverpool loss, understandable but there are better ways to go about it. When things aren't going so well, he's a bit of a loose canon.

Well we managed to torpedo our season in the span of 3 weeks. The positive guys will tell you we have come back from 8 points with 5 games left, yes we have but the team we are "chasing" is running away with it. League Cup and FA cup? Who cares about those? Champions league is impossible considering we couldn't even beat Lyon. I guess we can start looking forward for a CL place battle.
Troll 2

Winning the league ensures that nothing major will get spent in the transfer market. Its as if these footballing men don’t look at what’s happened in the past and learnt from it. Never rest on your laurels.
Indeed.

They still don't get it. And it's the 3rd time it's happened now.

We just have to suck it up, dust ourselves down and go back to getting the basics right. We're missing those fantastic little give and go triangles we played and the full backs getting to the by-line. Nothing quite clicking.

Well that was pretty shit was it not. It makes this year more interesting I guess. My final thoughts on today are - I don't want to see Fabian Delph play for a while. I understand those who say it's not his position, but he played well in the same all last year, he got back into the England set up by being disciplined and understanding his role. Since then he's decided it seems to go back to Villa Delph when he thought he was running the team. He's not good enough to play midfield for a top side because his stock ball is a booming pass which is not a high percentage play. He's way behind Foden in my books. Also I know some will say his tackle was ok but in football today you can't be that rash even if you get the ball. It was stupid and he's done it before. Time for Pep to show why he's the best and I'm sure we will see a reaction but he must look to the transfer market to give us a boost of sorts. Spending 60m on Mahrez instead of another striker or a centre midfielder looks like poor planning.

Defensively first half we were all over the show. Fucking criminal we did not buy cover for Dhino and our left back cover is weak as well.

For all our possession 2nd half we created very little and this is a worrying aspect of our current performances. Forget about the title for now, we just simply need to win on Sunday and just prey that Arsenal get something on Saturday.

Defence is shocking without Fernandinho. Once again this season we were let down by the Director of Football who failed to sign players to improve the team. Mahrez is second rate and we have only one competent DM.
FULLY AGREE MAHREZ WASTE OF MONEY

Today we looked like a team thrown together at the last minute, uncoached and no fight, cohesion, or leadership. If Pep is lauded when it goes will, when it's falling apart he also has to answer

Crap
Out before the many trolls get me a ban

Ok. I'll help :).
Klopp is a fantastic manager and Liverpool will win the league.
---

No idea what happened to us. Maybe it's the same that happened to the previous 9 PL winning managers. Remember Conte looked a great tactician in his title winning season and followed up dropping out of CL. Retaining the PL seems impossible for any side and why it is the best league.

On the game, I don't want to blame any players, I thought most of them put in the effort, some of them like Sterling look tired as well. Our defensive structure has gone and that has put pressure on the whole team.

Carried Sane, Aguero, Gundogan and Delph today. I don't think Delph played at Left Back all game.

I don't know what is wrong, but it needs sorting pronto.

C'mon now, surely Sterling must make this list too. Anonymous last 2 games. Players are simply out of form at a bad time.

I hope so, but the biggest obstacle for a title winning team is to keep up the motivation and workrate to win it again. If we were coasting it again, I could see us cruising to another win, but now we're 7 points behind, that's really gonna test that mental strength. To be honest, I'm not massively convinced that we'll do it. I'm already picturing the worst scenario, which is that Liverpool hit a dodgy patch and drop a few points, but we're not in a position to capitalize because we've already given up. Hope the players prove me wrong, and it's actually just a lack of Fernandinho that's hurting us.
Liverpool are very good at choking. 19 games is a lot. They haven’t wobbled yet but they will

Lazy slow and without passion Guardiola is as much to blame as the players

Lots of aimless crosses into the box - presumably because they think Aguero is now 6 foot plus or Dzeko has resigned

The football has become boring as fuck

Jingle bells jingle bells jingle all the way....
Oh hang on a minute!
Need to get out of this guy and congrats on the mickeys winning the league.
Something isn't right but I couldn't care less coz it's Christmas.
This thread will be nobhead central soon so I'm outta here.

If you couldn’t care less what are you doing here in the first place?

Well, that was a bit shit to say the least. Damn, we weren't even nice to watch today (or against Palace or Chelsea for that matter), which is something I haven't said for ages. Dreadful performance. We've gone from one of the meanest defences with a huge goal difference, to a jibbering wreck.

A few weeks to forget for sure. Dreading the Dippers game if we play like that.
