Good win. Fern: what needs to be said? Raheem always creating problems. On the other side, sorry, but Riyad Mahrez is still not delivering much.
This will sound a bit churlish, in view of this steadying of the ship that we so badly needed, but what I cannot help noticing is that we should, in fact, have won that 5 or even 6-1. As we were doing at the beginning of the season. And as the dippers are doing, despite their approach work not being on the same level as ours, imo. My point is this: next Thursday will be hard, let no-one kid themselves, but we can definitely do it, with that quality from midfield, and not throwing away so many chances. All chances, all half-chances must go into the back of their net. They will take every chance we allow them, so we must match them, and then some.

It is why i want his backup/replacement sorted quick fast. Left back is an issue but i feel Fernandinho and his position is vital for giving the overall defense solidity. A tl;dr would be Fernandinho's position can effect the overall structure more than a left back therefore it should be our priority. If Mendy breaks down again after he returns then yeah that becomes pretty much as important.There it is in a nutshell. Fernandinho plus one of the two maestros and even without a left back we dominate.
A solid win, can't ask for much more really, bring on the dippers!
