Merson sticking the knife in with his weekly predictions. Saying we shouldn’t be 10 points behind before the fa cup third round with our £50m full backs. Fucking clown, one of them has been permanently injured since we bought him. Why doesn’t he mention the £75m centre back that Liverpool have got and the £65m keeper?

Cos they are probably used to the thieving scouse twats not paying for anything , so it doesn’t count.

Anyone talking about how good Liverpool are need to remember, just like City, PSG, you spend you get results. This year is nothing to do with the fans, the spirit of the fkin 96, it's purely spending more

Liverpools last 5 seasons spending:- £164 million, £151 million, £72 million, £113 million , £136 million. It's not like they're spending to win is it? All totally home grown.

It is unbelievable how coverage has turned on NBC, no one giving us a chance against Liv. At least they are not saying the league is already over before the game like talkshite.

But...surely the manager of the year has to be the great Ole G Solskjaer after victories against Cardiff (away let's not forget), Huddersfield and Bournmouth (without ANY help from the referee) and the footballer of the year just has to be Pogba. As for the team of the year....
And goal keeper of the year..donut
And fattest fullback of the year ..shaw
And fattest contract of the year..sanchez

Makes me wonder why the unbiased and impartial national media choose to ignore facts like this? Still pandering to the Sky 4?
Because comparing transfer spending stats in only one year is absurd. Minimum 3 years and preferably 5 to make a real comparison, There's also a ten-year table here.

Fulham outspent us handsomely last summer. I assume that's because we pulled in the purse strings to comply with FFP.

Well, I hope that was the reason.

Does anyone think we'll get a fair TV crack of the whip on Thursday, or will it be the usual Liverpool lovin before the match? Will we f***! I'd be surprised if they'll be a City pundit. Redknapp, Sourness, and Bellamy.

Your table is incorrect because it does not include U23 and U18 data. This is significant in the case of City. For example this season City's net spend is actually £-15m not the £-39m you quote.

And this vermin won’t mind a great view of the game whilst lapping up our hospitality ? Should be stopped at the door & told he’s not on the list .

I won't be wasting any time reading that bollocks.

I assume they'll spin it to say that Salah and van Dijk grew up stealing car stereos in Toxteth and didn't cost their boyhood club a penny whereas we've killed football with 'dirty human rights money'.

Fucking tossers.
Does it mention the attack on our bus? They got a wad of cash for getting to the final which could be argued got them funds for another player. If they had not have attacked the bus then it might have been a different story. I'm not sure it would but I like to mention it to the Liverpool fans at work.
