Well ladies and gentlemen if we do lose or draw tonight it’s going to be a tall order to win the league 10 or 8 points adrift ( but not impossible),let’s not forget we still have three other competitions to go for so it won’t be the end of the world if we don’t win tonight...
We will be 7 points adrift if we draw the game.

Casting my mind to that Napoli performance last season. This has to be a performance that really shows who we are. Blood and guts. Every player scrapping and fighting in unison. Pressing them ****s off the pitch. Keeping calm. Controlling the game. All the qualities we've come expect. Keep them boxed on for 20min. Let them huff and puff and blow themselves. Left backs will need to be on fuckin form tonight. Come on City!!

Setting off soon for my tortuous 15 mins drive to the ground.

We need a win at all costs tonight. Can't wait for it, but shitting it. Every Rag in work wants us to win. I still fucking hate single last one of them

No matter the result ( hopefully any kind of win for us) Liverpool will have to manage the weight of history that is demanding to be satisfied, throw in the exponential rise of media hysteria that is bubbling up, and this title is not over until mathematically impossible, a couple of poor results and Gerrard’s “this does not slip” will be written large in every players mind.

I think the reason why nobody is saying much about it because we're not playing against the same team we played back then. Liverpool had Mignolet, Moreno, Klavan and Matip as their defense then. That's a shit defense any day of the week.

Secondly, subsequent results have all gone their way which has made the 5-0 look like a an anomaly, a blip if you like.

Maybe that's a good thing in a way. If we go hell for leather, looking for another 5-0, we'll be shooting ourselves in the foot against this lot. We just need to play our own game stick to our plans and take our chances (which I think there will be plenty of).
But it was Klopp's team two or so years into the job. At the end of the day we annihilated Klopp's Liverpool.
