FA Cup 4/5/6/7 Jan

We don't usually get them under any circumstances unless the foul impredes the move or is violent.

Even the rags wouldn't usually get a pen for that, nor even mention it afterwards. All the talk would be the offside decision.

And that is what probably stopped them getting the penalty without VAR as the officials we also thinking about the offside.

End of the day, the right decision was made for me, so VAR worked in this instance.

If those are going to be given as pens in every instance from now on, for every team.

Of course it means Mo Salah can now dive after he's played the ball, as well as before.

Tidays Var:
Burnley denied a penalty as player who was not interfering with play was offside in the build up to thevpenalty.
Utd get a penalty despite the pass made and player offside

This is almost certainly how it will pan out.

Utd won't get every decision. Nor will Liverpool. They'll just get a few more than everyone else.

Same as now, but official.

Any dive would be seen and punished.

If there was a foul before or after the ball has been played, then a penalty will be awarded.

If there is contact it's not a dive.

Most strikers are 'fouled' regularly after they shoot or pass the ball, due to the defenders trying to block the shot.

It is normally played on.

Ok mate, losing the will to live. We disagree and I see you've already decided your VAR agenda for next season.

It's coming in. Get used to it.

Just seen the Burnley VAR decision, comical. They over ruled the penalty decision with the player waiting to run up to take the penalty. The Burnley player in the incident wasn`t involved in play and shouldn`t have been ruled offside.

I've just watched it on the BBC website and the guy who was fouled may well have been just offside too. Need to see a better angle.
