You’d like to think so but after seeing that and the one in the rags game I’m not so certain. Yes the rags was a foul but Lukaku was offside and easily involved in the build up.

BEIN Sports are still going apeshit about it. Moss overulling the referee, yet the complicit media here are silent.
It seems to be an offside rule issue rather than a VAR issue.

Just seen some of the highlights from MotD. Two incidents: one in the Fulham game where the fellah goes to ground with less contact than that which pulled Salah arse over tit the other week, and one in the Preston game where an attacker gets manhandled in the area and literally dragged down to the ground. The first, after the Alty Tit invokes the use of VAR is given, and the other is just ignored. The second would have been a sending off in rugby for tackling the guy without the ball, surely! It never ceases to amaze me, week in and week out what passes for arbitration on the football field. The Preston manager called his team's performance as 'unacceptable'. This is the best I can say for those who strut about football grounds offering us the pearls of their refereeing wisdom!

When you see it in the context of the two team-sheets comparing ours yesterday and theirs today, you see a huge gulf in squad quality. We've had to rely heavily on ours, whereas they have got away scott free so far. Interesting if they get a few injuries.That dippers team is the reason I still think we're favourites for the league.
