Never a truer word spoken.No.
You want to shut down any debate you dont like.
Tough is the answer, not going to happen.

Well she was always on TV years ago with the one Tory that used to be gay at uni and lost his seat embarrassingly (can’t remember his name now). She does seem to get a disproportionate amount of criticism. It can't purely be because she is incompetent, as that is something that could levelled at literally hundreds of MPs. There must be a reason why she gets more vitriol than most others.

Then she stayed on TV. Makes a tit of herself at every aavailable opportunity, has shagged the leader of the opposition and is the probably the second most high profile labour MP, mainly from her media work.
It’s nothing to do with being female, just as the vitriol aimed at May isn’t.
Look at the length of this thread compared with similar on Corbyn or Johnson et al for confirmation.
It’s not a point to criticise her with, it’s a point to explain her elevated media relevance. Not sure why you inferred otherwise.Abbot shagged Corbyn - no worse than the Prime Minister shagging Edwina Curry - only Major had promised a moral reform and a return to basics.
She got into Cambridge. You don't do that if you're a thickie.
So, Grayling is a proven disaster, Abbott hasn't had an opportunity to prove herself yet? There’s a word of difference between Diane Abbot and Chris Grayling. Abbot got some numbers wrong in a debate - not great but no harm done. Grayling smashes the probation Service to pieces for political gain.He gave contracts to his mates in outsourcing companies like Working Links and Sedexo - the probation service has lost 30 per cent of its staff, has stopped meeting many offenders face to face, reoffending rates are through the roof, work programmes have disintegrated and the service is in a complete melt down. And don’t get me started on what Failing Grayling has done to the Railways. I’m not saying either Grayling or Abbot are great but one has done real damage and harm.. the others just no good at numbers.

;)
It was with Michael Portillo and on that very programme, she claimed that Chairman Mao wasn’t such a bad fella.Well she was always on TV years ago with the one Tory that used to be gay at uni and lost his seat embarrassingly (can’t remember his name now).

Thanks. Remembered his name just after I posted but couldn’t be arsed editing. She was never too bad on that and I had time for her. I agree she doesn’t well by comparison now.It was with Michael Portillo and on that very programme, she claimed that Chairman Mao wasn’t such a bad fella.

You may be right, but we don't know as she has never held office. Maybe we'll find out soon. There’s a word of difference between Diane Abbot and Chris Grayling. Yuk - both left a bad taste
She had a meal in my local pub on Friday, as she was down for Radio 4's Any Questions.
Didn't leave a tip apparently ;-)
It's "Diane", one "n". Just saying...
