Gundog class when he fills in Ferns spot. Not so good just in front. Unfortunately he isn't happy being a back up. Mahrez better on the left today I thought. Kev is just on a different level even amongst our set of legends! I thought Walker is looking more mobile now even if he didn't play great. And Danilo is becoming superb. We're showing the opposition the ball and tempting them to come into our half to try and win it. We're moving team after team around the pitch, pulling them out of position into places they don't want to be, which leaves holes in their formations and then bang bang !!

Got proper soaked walking back to Piccadilly. Why is it that it only seems to rain an hour before kick off, during the game and an hour after the game :-) For 10 mins after Ferna went off we "lost" the complete control we had previously. Not sure how many touches/passes he had, but absolutely everything went through him. Going to be the hardest replacement we have ever had.

We haven't broke sweat since January 3rd and he's resting key players every week. With KDB and Mendy coming back and being slowly eased in so they're fully back up to speed by the time the big teams come to town, it really is looking good. I think the plan may just play out perfectly
