The header? It didn’t need a line to be fair, you could tell easily enough from the 18 yard line
I think the ref bottled it, with regards Mustafi pulling back Sergio. We were 1-0 up, and only few minutes in to the game. He knew that giving the penalty, would result in Mustafi being sent off, but “bottled it” as it was to early in the game. After watching it live, and again later via every possible angle, I am honestly still not sure he was actually offside.
No matter, though, two things are clear:
1. Mustafi was absolutely awful yesterday (played everyone in the stadium on for our first and should have given away a penalty and been sent off for his pull back on Sergio).
2. The standard of officiating in the league, whether through incompetence or corruption, is very poor. The fact that there are reports that Sergio’s third would have been disallowed if VAR had been used also tells us things will likely stay the same after it’s official introduction.
And the media will predominantly cover up inconsistencies and mistakes, especially when it comes to us.
So there is no bias then?, Editor's blameless? Everything in the media kosher? Phew, what a relief. Shame on us remainers who support City and detest right-wing politicians/supporters. Because some of us may stretch evidence a little does not mean the entire premise of media bias is bogus. Media bias created brexit, carries it, keeps it stampeding to the cliff and over the edge. With nothing more than rumour and lies.
The sky/rags/diaper bias is entirely money driven, subscriptions/shirts/ad-revenue add up to billions, who or what threatens that is firmly in the firing line
The expression you're looking for is NOT bottled it, but cheated us out of a penalty..I think the ref bottled it, with regards Mustafi pulling back Sergio. That another way of putting it, yes!The expression you're looking for is NOT bottled it, but cheated us out of a penalty..
Which is either incompetence or corruption (though, some would argue corruption is always a form of incompetence).I think the ref bottled it, with regards Mustafi pulling back Sergio. And the media aren’t highlighting it at all.
There would be blanket coverage and an entire in-depth review and analysis segment on MOTD if the same thing had happened to any Liverpool player.
To be fair, if he was, it was imperceptible by the naked eye, and thus the linesman was, as is so often the case, guessing.i think he was, just.

Are you agreeing with me, then? The exact same ref didn't give a penalty that he was even closer to and looking directly at in their game and it generated the same amount of discussion on MOTD, which was them replaying the tackle and the pundits saying "it should have been given".
Looking at that angle I still think he’s level nico is off which is obviously why the lino flagged I can live with that but the Aguero pen was a fucking joke he bottled it big time because we had only just scored and it would have been game overi think he was, just.

DERMOT SAYS: In March, if a ball goes in the net of an attacker's arm it will be disallowed. It's on the list for a law amendment. In defence of Martin Atkinson, he wasn't in a position to see it - next season VAR will be able to intervene. Hopefully, this will be the end of this kind of incident.
Just to add though, that's two decisions that Atkinson has got wrong in consecutive games this week that I don't think are really open to interpretation at all. Will he get shifted down the divisions for a few weeks as a consequence as is supposed to happen? I somehow doubt it, which is where my issue with Pgmol is

Absolutely insane article in the guardian this morning by Jonathan Wilson , clueless **** suggests Pep "overthought" his tactics for yesterday and criticized Pep's behaviour in the technical area suggesting it made the team anxious.
"Where was character to reassert themselves after conceding an equaliser? (Where, for that matter, was the marking at the corner that led to the equaliser?) Where was the leader to grab the game and yank it back their way?"
Does he know we won ? Did he see us weather a storm as Arsenal played their way back into the game as the first half progressed before several of our leaders showed great character and combined beautifully to score the 2nd goal and grab the game and yank it back our way ?
Even referred to our stroll in the park to beat Arsenal at Wembley last year as "scratchy"
How do these ****s get articles like this published
He was level. Look at the replays with freeze frame. He is clearly onside. The other players were just off.The lack of analysis on Laporte's "offside" pissed me right off.
