"I'm loving angels instead?" Instead of what?
I clearly remember walking towards Reading’s ground in division 2 and all around me singing -We never win at home
And we never win away
We lost last week and we lost today
We don’t give a fuck ‘cause we’re all pissed up
MCFC, ok.
Never understood it (I was born on 13 May 2012). Is it about sex?
The way the singer pronounced " In the garden of Eden"In-a gadda-da-vida ?
Iron Butterfly.
Blur Song 2
I was convinced the lyrics were
“I got my head shaved,by Echon Boshay
I thought it was a celebrity hairdresser
The actual lyrics are
I got my head checked
By a jumbo jet
I always thought it was 'cause I speak of the properties of love.'
Makes sense, though if that weird word is the official lyric, I would imagine the origins lie in someone having originally written it down wrong on an album design/etc. (as they just couldn't figure it out) and it just got left there.
Of course, it could also be 'the Pompidous of love' - a reference to institutions of the like of the vast French arts centre and library, which I'm sure famed coquet Maurice would have consulted frequently,
...had...he been alive at the time of its construction...
er, yeah,...maybe not then...
