Song lyrics you never understood.

We never win at home
And we never win away
We lost last week and we lost today
We don’t give a fuck ‘cause we’re all pissed up
MCFC, ok.

Never understood it (I was born on 13 May 2012). Is it about sex?
I clearly remember walking towards Reading’s ground in division 2 and all around me singing -

“We DON’T win at home
and we never win away”

I still think it sounds better, makes more sense and is the original lyric but I never seem to be able to side with me on this particular debate.

Informer
You know say Daddy me Snow me, I go blame
A licky boom-boom down
'Tective man says see Daddy me Snow me stabbed someone down the lane
A licky boom-boom down.

I think ‘Snow’ May have had a liaison with a gentleman and somebody told his pops?

Blur Song 2
I was convinced the lyrics were
“I got my head shaved,by Echon Boshay
I thought it was a celebrity hairdresser

The actual lyrics are

I got my head checked
By a jumbo jet

"Tin Man" by America. Brilliant song but chattin shit.

Sometimes late
When things are real
And people share the gift of gab
Between themselves
Some are quick
To take the bait
And catch the perfect prize
That waits among the shells
But Oz never did give nothing to the Tin Man
That he didn't, didn't already have
And Cause never was the reason for the evening
Or the tropic of Sir Galahad
So please believe in me
When I say I'm spinning round, round, round, round
Smoke glass stain'd bright colors
Image going down, down, down, down
Soapsud green like bubbles

I always thought it was 'cause I speak of the properties of love.'
Makes sense, though if that weird word is the official lyric, I would imagine the origins lie in someone having originally written it down wrong on an album design/etc. (as they just couldn't figure it out) and it just got left there.

Of course, it could also be 'the Pompidous of love' - a reference to institutions of the like of the vast French arts centre and library, which I'm sure famed coquet Maurice would have consulted frequently,
...had...he been alive at the time of its construction...

er, yeah,...maybe not then...

Steve Miller was in a tough place when he wrote that song. He'd been in a motorcycle accident and had broken his neck. While recuperating for several months staying with his parents in Texas he got into a terrible funk. Miller said a deliveryman who brought him some firewood played him some music to get him out of it. And he wrote The Joker at a party shortly afterward. Score one for the firewood deliverymen out there!

Beat this:-

I am he as you are he as you are me
And we are all together
See how they run like pigs from a gun
See how they fly
I'm crying
Sitting on a corn flake
Waiting for the van to come
Corporation T-shirt, stupid bloody Tuesday
Man you've been a naughty boy
You let your face grow long
I am the egg man
They are the egg men
I am the walrus
Goo goo g'joob
Mr. City policeman sitting
Pretty little policemen in a row
See how they fly like Lucy in the sky
See how they run
I'm crying
I'm crying, I'm crying, I'm crying
Yellow matter custard
Dripping from a dead dog's eye
Crabalocker fishwife, pornographic priestess
Boy, you've been a naughty girl
You let your knickers down
I am the egg man
They are the egg men
I am the walrus
Goo goo g'joob
Sitting in an English garden
Waiting for the sun
If the sun don't come you get a tan
From standing in the English rain
I am the egg man (How do you do sir?)
They are the egg men (The man maintains a fortune)
I am the walrus
Goo goo g'joob, goo goo goo g'joob
Expert, texpert choking smokers
Don't you think the joker laughs at you (Ho ho ho, hee hee hee, hah hah hah)
See how they smile like pigs in a sty
See how they snide
I'm crying
Semolina Pilchard
Climbing up the Eiffel tower
Elementary penguin singing Hare Krishna
Man, you should have seen them kicking Edgar Allen Poe
I am the egg man
They are the egg men
I am the walrus
Goo goo g'joob, goo goo goo g'joob
Goo goo g'joob, goo goo goo g'joob, goo goo
