All I know is that it’s incredibly annoying being on 14,000 points and continually missing out on a fair number of games. I go to what I can but every season everyone above me moves on and I have no way of ever bridging that gap.
Even more infuriating is when people on here say to the ones that moan that they have ample opportunity to go to Sunderland on a Tuesday night etc, as if those 20 points will make all the difference. Believe me they don’t.

Even the fans on 23,000+ points have been in the same position as you at one time. 9 years ago I had 4,000 points. I went to every game home and away, joined all the Cup schemes, and even bought tickets off fans when I missed out. You just have to plod on improving your points and wait till all us old buggers are too knackered to go to games.

Not a chance that will happen. Some supporters clubs have always been given preferential treatment over others

I know of one supporters club that the secretary has his seasoncard paid for by the members

I’ve not come across such a season card being used for away games and season cards have to be in a members names. The link with away games is very tenuous IMHO.

Anyone with such a card is likely to be several thousand points behind the mid points owners who say they can’t get tickets.

I realise away tickets is a very sensitive issue but the anti Supporters Club bias (we were responsible for Brexit and the Suez Crisis don’t you know) is reminiscent of when the the Bosnian Blues were pressured off this Forum. Yes, some were only interested in Dzeko and I find it funny that the haters still despise the Edin Dzeko song being sang at the Etihad.

There’s a similarity with Supporters Clubs in that we aren’t going away.

That’s my understanding mate. We did have a card for one season two or three years ago and it had to be in a member’s name. Nothing wrong in extrapolating

I'd like to join one.....!! I'm just asking a straightforward question; there are many reasons (for normal supporters) as to why we don't seem to be able to get away tickets.
