Talkshite had the Newport striker on this morning and he only had good things to say. He got Silva's shirt, Guardiola spoke to him on the pitch after the game and they all went into City's dressing room after the game.

They also chatted about Foden and his opportunities and said he was doing the right thing staying at the club.

I remember Zoe Ball being interviewed on the radio many years ago and explaining that she'd supported (all conquering) Liverpool as a youngster, until some time in the early 90s when for some reason she'd started to feel closer to (the now all-conquering) United instead.

The interviewer asked her why the change of heart ... and she said she didn't know, really - nothing in particular, just a feeling she got.

Pathetic.

One day somebody is going to say something like that about City and I think I will just die a little bit inside.
 
The media were praying and hoping for another Wigan , BT had Hartson & Saunders at the ready ,but so glad we disappointed them all , there continiued questions regarding the quadruple are becoming repetitive , just waiting for a representative of our club to acknowledge the question so they can shoot is down in flames , personally i will settle for a treble with a little ice.

He also had a dig at a caller from Ipswich, who said he didn't come from Manchester but followed City and later read out a snide comment about plastic City supporters from other parts of the country. I've never heard him say anything about plastic Scousers ringing in from all points of the compass, in fact he is more likely to praise them for an excellent call.
 
Talksport this morning , Georgie Bingham with staggering news that Paul Scholes Oldham are still unbeaten followed by her assessment about the Chelse v Utd game , Chelsea should be up for it after their 6.0 victory at Man. City last week...a slip of the tongue ? I kid you not I mustn’t be the only one that heard it .

Ha ha , a few years ago she was regaling her fave rite Utd game , she was going on and on about Cantonas’ return game , the atmosphere, the support , the emotion, she was so emotional , Churchilian almost , on & on she went, then the interviewer asked her some random question then she slipped up & admited that she listened to it on the radio .....pissed myself laughing , the very worst glory hunting blender (Goldstein excepted)
 
Apologies if already posted but Stephen Jones in the times comes out with this 'The travelling supporters were mostly silent,no Blue Moons. ... if it had kicked off between the supporters the City of Manchester would have suffered a catastrophic defeat'. I blame Worsleyweb myself.
