Not uefa or refs fault we played relatively poorly tonight. Grit was tremendous, but the goals we scored were a gift, a moment of brilliance, and a determined hustle ... not like we created much, and after watching the match again we were quite fortunate; but we made a lot of that fortune by not giving up. And that’s ok. But also ok to acknowledge that tonight’s performance will sink us against stiffer competition, no matter the ref or the sinister plots of the uefa syndicate.

Khaldoon should tell Pep not to wear his Catalan ribbons, especially when the ref is Spanish.
If we do go on to win the champions league this (or any other) season it will be despite eufas best efforts ,anyway, and what better place for Pep to lead the team to lift the trophy than Madrid whilst showing his support for Catalonia

Neither should have been given and VAR is a joke . On another note that’s not been picked up , why didn’t VAR look at Sterling’s nudge for his goal . He said himself he nudged him after the game . Glad it didn’t get given as a foul but just shows how gray the whole thing is .

It's impossible for VAR to get the 50-50 decisions right. Yesterday, it went against us, but we got lucky as we were playing against a poor side. I'm still confident VAR would eliminate those Liverpool 2 yard offside goals and blatant dives. The system will get faster and better in future, we'll just have to get along with some poor decisions for a while.

Personally I think along with booing their stupid ditty, we should all start wearing yellow ribbons to the European games.

UEFA do not like us and that is the bottom line.

If it wasn’t so obvious that UEFA will try
anything too stop City from winning The Champions League it would be laughable

NO.IT.WASN'T.

It was as clear as the one Blind Andre ignored on Sterling and it was as blatant as the trip on Georgia Stanway in the CFC game. I must admit that we FOCs in CBL3 scream penalty at each incident in the oppo box but Phil Dowd would have given that had it hit Micah's leg, and I have the firm conviction it would have been given by any of the whistling wankers in our area, with VAR being no more than a formality had it beenavailable!

what pissed me off about the first pen is although you see them given the ref had decided it wasn't a pen, then the tv wouldn't work so as it wasn't a clear and obvious error he should have gone with his original decision.thats what pisses me off had he given it at the time id have been pissed off but accept it.i think its being manipulated at the moment to get what they want

Both penalties were questionable Otamendi's more so because he definitely tried to move his arm out of the way of a fast shot. Second one was a third rate tussle but he did catch his legs and he took advantage. It was reported that the pitch side VAR monitor was broken in the first half so the ref couldn't see the replay himself. Is it a coincidence? Otamendi's second booking should have been referred to VAR but wasn't , it was a game changing decision. But being honest both our players tread a fine line when they play so refs are perhaps looking out for them. The ref seem to be shy of giving yellow cards to them if it meant they were walking. i can think of a couple At 2-1 i still thought we will go through but Sane and Sterling's goals have turned it into a certainty for me and done great things for our team spirit. Better to come back like that than win away 3-0. The decisions certainly put a bit of fuel on the conspiracy fire though.

You can't refer yellow cards to VAR but even if they could it wouldn't have been overturned

I’m not allowed to post on match threads ever since the WC, but, I too was shouting WTF are you ****s moaning about. Two penalties that you could do fuck all about and you win 3.2 away in Germany!!! One if the best free kicks you will ever see. Pep went for the win with his subs and change of formation, balls of steel. And yet, the amount of fanny batter on that forum was weird as fuck. You ****s are fucking spoiled and you should enjoy that. ****s. :)

What a week to give up the glue.
Fanny batter, deep fry everything there?
