Likely gone in the summer. No surprise, he is behind most of the squad in many areas and the defensive solidity that made him an option last season has evaporated. Gone off him a bit since the 'basics of football' rant got public in all honesty.

Agree - with sadness.

Delph is very talented - and I'm not sure why Pep has had a huge drop of confidence in him. Should that lack of confidence not change in the next few months... he's likely gone in the summer window.

I thought we would be looking for our next permanent fullback in the summer as we are a little short in that area and Delph might be surplus to requirements should that happen.

We only bought in one player in the past two transfer windows so I suspect some changes in and out this summer as we bolster our DM as well.

DM is probably our biggest need.

Fullbacks is a very close second.

Walker's drop-in-form is alarming.

Mendy's lack of drive/professionalism will likely see him traded soon.

Delph has lost the confidence of our manager.

What is going on with Delph? He was in the Friday training video, then disappeared over the weekend, then was reported to be in the final training session this morning, and now left out of the travelling squad as 'unavailable'. Very strange.

If so, I can’t find any record of it bud. An earlier post said he was spotted on the recent training videos too..

PEP pre EFL final vs Chelsea:

asked about Delph's situation, if linked to his red card,
Pep said Fab couldn't train regularly recently,
issues with ankle and being sick too.

The other lads for LW like Zin were just ahead of him.

Doubt we'll see tgis lad in a city shirt again. With the EFL cup done with thats him done. Only Swansea gives him a chance,no way he's getting near a PL or a CL game, or even a potential cup semi final.

That's a weird thing to say. He's played in 42 league and Champions League games since the start of last season.

With injuries to Fernandinho and Laporte he could well end up starting if he gets fit again. I think people are taking the idea that he's in Pep's bad books way too far.

While he probably does have minor injury knocks here and there, I think Zin's immense improvement is the biggest factor in Fabi's lack of matches.
