mistakes in big games for Spurs seem to be killing them, as well as just not spending enough! but Trippier as good as the media rave about him - he is is causing a lot of error

from spurs forum
Vertonghen vs Watford.
Vorm vs Liverpool.
Trippier vs Barcelona.
Alderweireld vs PSV.
Lloris vs PSV.
Trippier vs Man City.
Trippier vs Wolves.
Vertonghen vs Woolwich.
Foyth vs Woolwich.
KWP vs Barcelona
Trippier vs Everton.
Trippier vs Wolves.
Trippier vs Man Utd.
Eriksen/Sissoko/Vertonghen vs Burnley.
Trippier vs Chelsea.
Trippier magically turned from an OK squad player into a world class right back when we signed Walker and the media clocked that we'd released him as a youngster. Great delivery of a ball but his defending and all round play is lower mid table standard.

A resurgent Arsenal to play this weekend to. If they lose this they will be totally deflated i think and could slip out of the top 4. It will be a good test of their character this weekend.

Just for the absolute anarchy it will cause with top four spots I wouldn't mind seeing Arsenal beat these on Saturday

They haven’t been close though have they? They clearly aren’t good enough whereas Spurs could be.

What makes me piss is the Harry Kane fitness video. Whilst he was missing, Spurs won almost every game. He then releases ridiculous footage of himself training in his back garden as if to say “Don’t worry Tottenham fans, I’m nearly ready to save the day.”

Then he returns and Spurs lose two straight games and are out of the race.
Our Vinny did a fair few of those tbf, what did you make of them?

what a fkin joke.

And ref actually saw it and let him get away with it

Choose from;

A) Referee states in his report that he saw the incident clearly and didn't think it worthy of action, both Kane and referee escape sanction.
B) Referee doesn't state he saw it, but FA see it as a yellow card offence and unworthy of retrospective action.
*whistles nonchalantly*

Only just seen this due to comments on here...

That is just terrible bent, dodgy, call it what you will. If that was any other player they would be done for that, utterly laughable.

Had I seen them, I’d have thought them equally ridiculous but then Vinny wouldn’t have come back for the two games that blew a title chance, and even if he had, he’d have gone home in tears to console himself by polishing the 3 Premier league medals in his cabinet.

Spursy (Adverb):
To be like Tottenham Hotspur
The ability to fall apart when the sniff of a league title occurs.

That's the problem, isn't it? At a rational level, it's handbags shite and should probably be a yellow card offence, but historically it's always been a red card offence apart from when it's been one of their golden boys.

Also, this is the 5th or 6th time Golden Boy Harry has escaped a red card ban and that was the least of the offences. Shrek was the same, along with a few others.
Don't start crying when he does something similar in a World Cup or Euros and walks.

A disappointing night. We were well beaten.

But to say we are bottling it is silly. What about the 17 teams below Spurs? What are they doing? They must have a whole bottling factory by your bottling standards.
You get in the title race often but bottle it when the pressure gets going this time of the season, you either view yourselves as potential champions or just a top 6 team, you are stuck in the middle ,as i've said before you need a proven trophy winning manager to shake you up

Spurs fan on talkshite just now( if anyone tech savvy could provide a link) just nailed it with a proper rant finished off with line we should change glory glory for nearly nearly.......slates Lewis Levy and Pochettino

It was obvious you hadn’t seen the Vinny ‘coming back from injury’ video. If you had you might not have been so quick to knock Kane for his.
Not sure what other stuff about premier league medals has to do with it?
