Yes to this if Stones is fit and I think I’d go with Merlin over Foden to start.

If Stones isn’t ready I’m sure Komps can take care of Deeney.

With a weeks rest I think the boys will be ready for this one.

Sane and Mahrez should be included in this game. Not sure how Watford will come at this. Might end up like Bournemouth with 8 behind the ball at all times.
We function much better when teams actually try and play us rather than just defend deep.
Might be a good idea to rest Merlin if we have that luxury. Would really like to see Bernardo and Gundogan centrally from the start.

Oh yes you do :) There is only one way to come at us. Park the bus. We have to strike early to stop the bus parking. And we normally attack intensely in the 1st 10 minutes or so to try to get that goal before teams settle into their bus.

Watford will probably be ultra conservative after what happened to them at Anfield, I'd happily take another 1-0.

I agree mate. Intense first 15 mins, early goal will see them HAVE to attack us. Or risk just chasing the ball for 70 mins. Our stats v Bournemouth were great, and that was AWAY from home on a tight pitch v a team with zero attacking intent. They NEVER play like that v ANYONE else.
Do we play Mahrez? I think we should. My only concern is that he lacks pace, is too predictable and appears to slow our attack phase in the final 3rd of the pitch. There’s no doubt the guy has talent, and plenty of PL experience, he just need to show it with us.
