On Saturday at Bournemouth there were approx 30 empty seats on the right hand side (looking at the pitch) towards the back, as me and my two mates I went with had our tickets in three areas in the away end we all just stood together in this section, think a few others did in the 2nd half too.

You can understand a few empty seats across the entire allocation - being being ill, missing transport etc but a block of 30 seats takes some explaining

I was sat right behind that. Thought it might have been a supporters club allocations and the coach had broke down on the way maybe

I’m not sure where the tickets came from, but my mate’s branch was offered an extra 8 tickets on Friday. A bit late in the day as the people who originally asked for them, but were unlucky, had made other arrangements.
I’d guess corporate returns, but wherever they come from the club should stick to the no returns policy within the last week.

It sold out on 20500 points and there will have been people who missed out that shouldn’t have done

Three I know missed out, Why can't the club contact folk just below the points cut off instead of Supporter clubs? Even if it's a day or two before the game I'm near certain they'd be snapped up off blues who thought they'd missed out.

I don’t know. The Supporters Club offered them to the branch as they were eight short and maybe thought they’d have them. I don’t know who has been hanging on to them until Thursday because they are the ones to blame, not the branch or the people trying to get them bought.

For anyone who hasn't seen it look at the post further down.
Ryanair selling City tickets.
It's getting beyond a joke now.

One of the ticket facebook sites was also offered some. It would be simple for the ticket office to have a list and contact on a first come basis to fans that missed out

Unbelievable, Is this the very site that City tried to shutdown too?

As I said earlier mate and you've just repeated, how fuckin hard is it to contact folk with the next set of required points. The club really don't do themselves any favours with the shit they pull.

Why does that affect you? It’s only home games.

I know a Blue coming over from abroad who couldn’t get tickets via the official site but got tickets that way, at face value plus a small booking fee. What’s the problem?

I think the question is why let an outside source whoever it is sell them. Why not just sell them through the Club. At lots of games there are many many empty seats together. Posters on here think that ticket agencies and sponsers like Thomas Cook ect are allocated them and cant shift them, but fans cant get them through the club .seems a very strange way of doing business. Another problem is segregation what checks if any do they make to ensure it City fans getting them ?
