CL QF Draw - City V Spurs ===== SF V Ajax (If we get there)

not about nitpicking but I just see 7 games in April (the Fulham game is in March the 30th) unless I am still missing something. I trust you will let me know

We've an advantage in having more than 7 good players.
Don’t dispute that for one minute but I also think any advantage with recovery time should not be overlooked/underestimated. I really hope they don’t get a full week preparation before the 1st leg. Still think we’re strong enough to progress regardless but would much rather they didn’t get it. Come on Milwall!

Bit of an urban myth I'd say. They said that about us and we have been the better side in all of the last 3 games.
Yes. We've become used to their style. So we are better at dealing with it. But they are still a handful for us. We were slightly better at their place. At home, we won but we weren't better.

Liverpool is a tough out for anyone. And even tougher for anyone who hasn't played against them before. I have more faith in Porto's ability to beat them than I do Barca.

They might underestimate Porto (I pray they do) but I know they won't underestimate Barca.

I hated playing Liverpool last year because of the hype prior to the games. This year, playing Spurs whilst living in North London and having a Spurs supporting missus is the same level of nightmare. Would much rather have played another team.

Interesting that a lot of fans on Spurs forums think we are '''embarrassment to the PL in the CL" and we "choke in Europe".

Well if any group of supporters know what it means to choke then it's certainly the Tottenham fans.

If there were a trophy for being bottlers the only thing stopping Tottenham taking it home is that they'd bottle it.

I think we might get through this tie but Tottenham have a very nasty side remember dele on de bruyne and kane on sterling. I do not think we will get any protection from the referees. this a bent competition plain as day and it will be the biggest of miracles to even get to the final. apparently one of ronaldos goals did not cross the line and suarez pen when he stood on denayers foot then dived was cheating at its worst. there were two certain yellows for livepool one for van dyke and one for mane that were just waived away. I could go on

Much will depend on injuries. Currently, Mendy and Debruyne have been out most of the season, Stones is injured again, Vinnie can't be relied upon, Fern is injured and, unlike the scousers, just about every player has been out injured at some point.

At the time we needed all our players fit, over the congested Christmas period, all our key players were injured and we lost to Leicester and Palace in the space of 4 days.

Whilst we hope for the best, there's no room for hubris.

Spurs choke when they get anywhere near a trophy.
