FA Cup Semi Final draw - Brighton

The fact that at the moment it looks like the 9.00pm train is the last train back will also put a lot of fans off. I know it has been said there will be extra trains laid on but if you go on Trainline they aren't listed. I am going at the moment with my daughter but have no idea how I am getting there and back. Maybe a lot of people just can't be arsed with the effort again. It's expensive, a full day out and a late night back for many with young kids. I wonder which neutral ground they would have selected in the old days, Villa Park?

There will be later trains as previously posted. They just haven't been uploaded to public systems by Network Rail as yet.

Any ideas when they will be? Do I gamble and buy an open return knowing that I don't have to rush for the 9.00pm?

I know NR are working on them (and additional trains for Wolves on the Sunday) as I'm having regular dialogue with them. I'm expecting something back from them in the next couple of days.

100% agree, no consideration for the fans whatsoever, which i have said, also think the club could have laid on dirt cheap travel, and the concession prices are an absolute disgrace, but i do maintain we do have a large percentage apathetic fan base, where many just cannot be arsed, there are still loads of cheap seats at wembley available, i fully understand people not paying the premium prices. Anyhow, like Carlos says there are 2 weeks to go, maybe jumping the gun a bit.

Coaches from the Etihad are only £20 with Thomas Cook..was £40 for Carabao final..must be the club subsidising them as I can't see Thomas Cook doing it .

Yes you’re jumping the gun a bit as you do every single Wembley trip .

There will thousands of Blues who won't have enough points for the FA Cup final so this will be an opportunity to go to Wembley. Those who want to take the kids will also have the benefit that the day after isn't a schoolday (unlike the LC Final). We should get a better idea of our support after the ST extra ticket window and then general sale.

Keep us updated mate,I mean fingers crossed we be ok (no extra time) but if worse case scenario happens.......even bloody pens !

I'm thinking should be back at Euston, give or take, for around 8.30-8.45,if no extra time

At league cup final, I stayed until the players had come round the pitch and celebrated in front of the and etc. This was easily 20 mins after the last pen had gone in. There was then a huge queue to Wembley Park station which they manage really well and we were back at Euston for 8.40. I know kick off was a bit earlier but you wouldn’t be any later than that.

Yea definitely gonna be a tight one,I'll be away as soon as ref blows his whistle,if there is a result of course :)

Sorry to butt in on this, since I won't even be going, but people do realise, do they, that there's a train from Watford Junction for Milton Keynes leaving at 9.01 p.m.? (Change at MK, where I suppose you pick up the 9 pm Euston train). As somebody who grew up in north-west London, I'm pretty sure that it would be quicker to get to Watford Junction from, say, Wembley Central than in to Euston, where, going in that direction, it could well take you several trains to get onto one from Wembley Park (nearly all Brighton fans will be going in that direction). Just trying to be helpful.
(At a push, if there were four of you and you got organised, it probably wouldn't cost you an arm and a leg to get an Uber out to to Watford Junction).

If the match finishes in normal time, there will be the normal train at 2020, an unadvertised relief at 2054 (to Crewe, Wilmslow, Stockport and Piccadilly), the normal 2100, an advertised relief at 2120 (to Crewe, Wilmslow, Stockport and Piccadilly) and an advertised relief at 2124 to Stafford, Wilmslow, Stockport and Piccadilly.
If the match goes to extra time and penalties, the 2054 will not run, but the train will be held back for an unadvertised 2146 (to Wilmslow, Stockport and Piccadilly).

All these times are currently estimated, and may come back flexed a little depending on how Network Rail time them around other passenger and freight operators' services.

Personally, I can't be doing with dashing back for last trains so will be going for a few leisurely post match beers somewhere in Central London followed by a night at the Marylebone Travelodge, for a gentle saunter back after brunch on Sunday.

Ah right that's ok then, even though we have reserved seats on the 21.00 train, but might have to get the relief train at 21.46 on worse case scenario
