Emiliano Sala - Cardiff suing Nantes for £100m - court hearing today (P25)

If i was a Nantes CEO would tell Cardiff they intend to donate the fee to his parents. Then see what Cardiff have to say about that. 9f they still refuse the aftermath could turn put very bad Indeed for cardiff
Contract would have to be paid to his beneficiaries anyway.

I must say that I found all the outpourings of emotion from Cardiff and Warnock especially rather faux at the time. If anyone had cause for grief it was Nantes and their fans. Sad for sure but they'd barely met the lad and I imagine most of their fans had never heard of him before it was announced. Sorry if that seems harsh but in the context of Cardiff's recent behaviour it would seem my initial assessment wasn't too far off the mark.

Oh fuck off.

They signed a player. He was flying over to play for them. He died.

Yes it’s sad and yes they or their insurer loses out and if it’s not them then it’s Nantes who lost a player they didn’t want to part with and now would lose the transfer fee. Keep the emotion in it, Cardiff are a bunch of cûnts and I hope they go down through the divisions. What they’ve done is beyond a cûnts trick. It’s abhorrent.
Right back at ya dickspring.

I am not saying I agree with their actions but once the philadelphia lawyers and loss adjusters get involved anything goes sadly.

Welcome to the modern world.

so they announced him as a new signing, had the pics with the shirt, the poor bloke dies in a plane crash and Cardiff have gone into all the details trying to find something that might have been done wrong so they don't have to pay, if I was the ruling body eufa/fifa I would ban them from ever doing a transfer again unless the full amount is paid in full, that is a fucking disgrace.

even if they aren't officially sanctioned for this, who is going to deal with them going forward without seeing the money up front?

Colin and Cardiff cover themselves in glory.Only a fool would want to sign for them now.underhand bunch of sheep shaggers

Rent a gob Warnock seems very quiet now. He was allover the place after the death milking (perhaps I'm being unfair) the situation.

If this was City I'd be outraged but for some reason I'm less that shocked this horrible club have/ tried to wriggle out of this situation.

Not harsh at all mate. I thought City retiring the #23 after Foe’s death was a bit much as he only played for us for a year. Wasn’t like he was a hero of the fans or owt. But Cardiff really have acted like a club legend had died. Nice to show respect but don’t go too far because it just ends up being, as you say, faux.

I’m inclined to agree with you regarding MVF. In addition to your points, he was, after all, only on loan from Lyon.
