Away tickets

It would also have got you a ticket via the loyalty system if all 3000 tickets were sold through that system instead of 1200 being syphoned off
And you wouldn't have needed any ID

I totally agree but when the corporates pay small fortunes for hospitality at home games the club is always going to look after them. The club is run as a business not a football club so those tickets will always be creamed off to look after the money.

Celtic with collection and ID in the rain sold out at 13,250.
That was more than two years ago. Hardly a comparison for Spurs without adding points inflation at approximately 2000 points per year minimum, ie this year I’ve already acquired another 2500 points without the two remaining cup schemes.
Therefore Spurs should have sold out at a minimum of 17,500 with ID. Amazingly it sold out at at 17,500 without ID.

Two tickets for sale in the Spurs thread have come from the corporate allocation following their ballot. Clearly someone asked for more than they needed.

If you've already amassed 2500 points this year there's obviously something wrong with your maths or you're gaining more points per game than just 20/40 for each home/away match. Most you should have is 1,740 added to your total so far..... unless there's a loophole you'd care to share?!

It would never happen. But wouldn't it be fairer to have a separate loyalty system for cup matches.
So in the Champions League, the people who went to all the Group matches (especially as they didn't sell out), should have first dibs on the knock out stages.
I say this as someone who's been to all the Champs League matches, but missed out on a Spurs ticket !

That's why I got my ticket from Celtic. It was easy to register with an Edinburgh postcode.

The only problem was sitting behind the goal, not far from the City support (but with a better view), surrounded by some serious Celtic nutters. It was quite scary.

980 for the start of the season for renewing and the cup schemes, except you get the cup schemes added at the end now

Thats the issue, everyone wants the scheme to suit them.

2540 points available this year assuming we get to both the CL and FA Cup finals.

(PL - 1140, LC - 200, FAC - 200, CL - 400, Schemes - 600).

I suspect the debate for away tickets will reach fever pitch when the derby ticket criteria are announced. My guess is they will sell out at 19k+ because so few will actually be sold via the loyalty points scheme. Maybe as a thought all tickets for the derby should be sold via the loyalty scheme which means approx. 3,000 are sold this way rather than 1,750. Corporates etc should be made aware that the derby match will be sold this way and not to expect a ticket.

Or you could just wait until the corporates get their allocation and sell them on here if you're looking for one?

I think if I was spending £20k a year on a box or whatever I wouldn’t want to hear that!

Why should we fund their posh seats for next year? If a corporate sells on a couple of tickets for every away league game, that over a grand towards their seat for next year. Add on to that a few cup tickets etc etc

I assume they pay for their tickets but in any case, they pay a hefty sum for corporate so you wouldn't exactly be funding their posh seats.

Tough though isn't it especially when it appears so many sell them on. Why should someone who is wealthy jump the queue?

It's always been the way. They have to entice people to go corporate in some way.

Same with points to some degree. If you can afford a season ticket you get extra points. If you can afford the time and money to do every away, you will end up with more points than those that can't afford it.

That's why I am in favour of SCs and other sources being allocated tickets. It gives most people the opportunity to get a ticket from somewhere. If it was points only, then it would pretty much be a closed shop.
