TV Series

After watching afterlife, I'm on a ricky Gervais binge, never really been on my radar before. Watched one episode of the office, was ok, but Derek is absolute brilliant, thoroughly enjoyed watching it, just the special episode to go. Got extras ti watch too. His stand up is hilarious too

OA is great. Quirky and S1 is like 3 separate series (if you watch it you'll get what I mean). Not level of GoT though.

I know what you mean but I think Stephen Graham can be quite menacing. Or maybe I’m a bit soft!
 
Watching Hanna at the moment, quite liked the film but i think the series is probably better (up to ep 6, where i'm at anyway).

Also watching Doom Squad which i really like, but might not be for everyone as its a bit whacky.
 
I quite liked the OA (I have a thing for Brit Marling) but I'm some way from returning to finish it.

Hated Afterlife. Everything felt like a set-up for Gervais to ham it up. Although the pyjamas were a nice touch.

Series 1 of Outlander is filling the need for light-ish viewing ATM - although the constant mind-numbingly redundant, and utterly repetitive voice-over is grating a little bit.

I sacked of Sex Death And Robots after 1.2 episodes. It was like cut-sequences from a shit computer game.

Is Killing Eve worth persevering with?
 
I watched my first Line of Duty last night.

Totally unbelievable tosh. That much heroin and only 2 car escort? Down a country lane? Fucking lol. Crime lord. Wandering around his own club and the Police have no idea who, why and where? Tosh.
 
Just off to watch episode seven of Westworld series one and loving it. Ed Harris playing an absolute stormer.
 
Can't think there's anything amazing I've seen in a good while
But another vote for Barry series 1 from me. 7/10 type show.
Especially the scenes with Henry Winkler and the cop.

You were correct not to bother with season 2. Watched the first few and it's complete shite.

Each to their own i suppose, but i thought the first season was pretentious and the way it ended up felt like a huge wind up. I actually tricked some people in work to watch the whole thing with the promise that the last episode would explain everything, needless to say they were all as pissed off as me (mostly pissed off at me though :D).

Ive watched the first three and i have to say so far its an absolute crock of shite. Now reading what you say about the end i think ill give it up.
