Where exactly are all these planes going to come from to transport 17,000 fans (even worse if it's god forbid it's two English teams in the final)? A dozen charters would be around 2500 fans at most.
I'm glad I have my flight booked!

Tickets now available to buy from secondary sites for the final on the day of the ballot SHOCK! Starting at just £1300 a ticket.

We even had one of the charlatans advertising his services on here, masquerading as an ally of football fans when he's clearly anything but.

The people that do this and the people that facilitate are a scourge on football. But never underestimate the propensity of football fans to happily fuck each other over, even if it inevitably means fucking themselves over in the long run.

But if there’s 2 northwest teams and 30,000 trying to go??? It’s not going to happen

There are plenty of different routings in to Madrid. Some people travel a day or two before, or a day or two after, some via Paris, Frankfurt; some fly into regional airports and get the train, some will get the ferry to Bilbao for that matter. It's never just a question of looking at point A to point B and adding up the number of aircraft needed to get there, but even if it was, there's plenty of aircraft available to do something like that. The reason charter flights to football are comparatively expensive is because there's little likelihood of them being re-used between the outbound and the inbound, so they become an expensive ornament sat on the tarmac waiting.

Just had a quick look. Getting to mainland Spain around that weekend is near impossible for less than £400 currently. Just checked MAN-Bilbao on easyJet. Thursday to Sunday. £400.

Never said it would be cheap!

Good luck getting the train from Bilbao! Train fares are also shooting up in price from the likes of Malaga, Alicante, Barcelona etc. You could quite easily be looking at a grand for a game of football which is crazy.
