CL QF Draw - City V Spurs ===== SF V Ajax (If we get there)

Can anybody help clarify which way around the home and away fixture would be should we get through to the semis or will this only be confirmed once the draw is made. Been told I need to book on a course at work on either Tuesday the 30th or Tuesday the 7th. UEFA site showing semi dates as 30 April/1st of May and 7/8 of May.
Will need to book on the dates when we are at home so I can still go to the away one. Cheers

Dont like that Spurs having 5 full days now without any game until we play them on Tuesday. They will be more fresh, extra motivated from the new stadium, small things can decide a high pressure CL tie sometimes and these thing favour Spurs a bit now.

We need to score away from home and make sure we dont lose. Would accept a 2-2 now easily.

Also between the two CL games we have Palace away while they have Huddersfield home. Fixture list is not doing us any favour now.

The home leg IF we get past Spurs would be 30th April/1st May. We would be away second on either the 7th/8th May.

Surely that's only the case if the Rags don't beat Barca, if they do then we play Juve/Ajax away first (highly unlikely I know!)

Nope. UEFA have decreed we are better than United, and if there is a fixture clash then its United's fixtures that switch.

That being said, I don't see it being an issue as Barca will batter them.

Just home from match last night - Spurs Champs Lge Away tickets have arrived in today’s post. I must admit, they do like to cut it a bit fine.

I had a mail today telling me that my CL final ticket application was not successful. Ah well, had to be in it to win it! Hope someone on here has better luck
No tickets for me.
It’s a scam I tell you!
Where’s the agenda thread when you need it!
All tickets will go to those with Madrid postcodes.

Still waiting for mine. Don't seem to have the tickets in the ticket office sales recently. Feel for those traveling to Wembley Saturday and staying over for the Spurs game. Problem!

Agree. We might have to do extra time and penalties. I think we will do well to get a result next Tuesday.

Spurs fan here. Really looking forward to the game, none of us are very optimistic but with a home crowd behind us you never know I guess!

Just thought I'd say that I know some of you are looking at getting the 11pm last train back from Euston. Going by last night, that might not actually be possible. The transport's barely been improved and is really struggling to handle the new capacity - some of our fans weren't even on the tube at Seven Sisters by 11 having left at full time. Your best bet seems to be to take the 30 minute walk or so to Tottenham Hale where there were much smaller queues and get the Victoria Line from there instead, you should just make it if you do that but no guarentees so have some kind of backup in mind. Whatever you do don't try to go to the stations near the ground (White Hart Lane, Bruce Grove, or Northumberland Park) or you have no chance of making your train.

Thanks mate, I’m hoping to get the 11pm train back, how long does it take to get the tube back to Euston from Tottenham Hale?

About 15 minutes or so once your on the tube. Main risk is that people who were stuck queueing for ages at Seven Sisters last night walk to Tottenham Hale now and you have to queue there, but you can afford probably up to a 15 minute wait if you leave at full-time.

Other thing is that I don't know if you'll potentially get held back at the end like you often do at actual European aways? As that'd make it pretty much impossible.

Cheers mate, thanks for that. The transport sounds a bit grim. We’re staying over near Wembley so if we have to walk how long do you think it might take?

Top man, cheers for that. I’d better make that train or my wife will have my balls in a cheese grater. She’s already on the edge over 3 London trips in a week
