I think they’ve answered the bell recently every time, unfortunately. They’ve only got Chelsea left as a point dropper. City need to win them all. Gonna be hard as f***, but do-able.

Up the blues!
Not true though that is it? Who would have thought palace home, Leicester and Newcastle would be point dropped for us? And In all those games we were winning, football has a strange way of shocking you when you least expect it

The Dippers will not have a problem with Chelsea they are flakey this season , Cardiff and Geordies away will be their big tests , they play ugly but effective football and are scraping results every week , its looking like we will need to win all six remaining games to retain our title , and i wouldnt put it past this group of players. It would be tough losing the title with 96 points , but the same applies to the Dippers. One thing is for certain , we will be challenging again next season , i dont see the Dippers getting the same amount of penalties , offside decisions and late goals , they have fluked their points total this season and all their new fans who have appeared from under their rocks this year can return to living in the past.

Does anyone know what it was that he said?
After Dean awarded dodgy game changing decisions away at Burnley, costing Spurs 3 points, Poch gave him a gobful at full-time.

Poch and his assistant then turned and walked away, only to suddenly stop and turn in shock.

Then we saw Poch asking him to say that again, ready to smack him one.
I imagine right then, that watery dung started to leak down Dean's leg.

Rumour has it (Dean Saunders, Talksport) that as Poch was walking away, Dean's cocky reposte went something like, "Yeah, well that's the end of your title challenge "!
(Or might have been end of your title chances)

Let that sink in to those that think there could be no agenda with these little power pants, with whistles and flags.

You have the PL chief executive stating that they don't want the championship to be a one horse procession like last year affecting it's financial value to TV companies.

The PL then arranging fixtures, to ensure that the only club challenging City, (Liverpool), plays on a different day to us.

Then, if Liverpool match our result, it enables the league lead to change hands numerous times, keeping the championship exciting for the world's viewers.

Got that so far?

Now take a look at those refereeing decisions!

Reads well except for the fact that Spurs were allowed an incorrect goal, taking a throw-in about 15 yards in advance of where the ball went out

Better how? Defensively is about the only way. If you think they are better to watch going forward I beg to differ... far worse this season. Boring and predictable in fact. Their wins were mostly earned outright in those two better seasons I mentioned, not so this season.

That's only looking at it from a football purists perspective, when you take points out of the equation, obviously you'd rather have the points but I thought I made that clear.
They were a counter attacking team last season with a leaky defense. They struggled against any team that sat back deep. As they needed space and the high press induced turnovers to win.

Now their defense is solid. They control game more and better. They have a more varied attack. Their midfield is stronger and the team is deeper. The only area that's weaker is Salah, who isn't as prolific, but Mane is almost 2ice as good and Firmino is better.

Their Fullbacks are twice as good.. I know we are in an existential struggle with them currently, but this team is far far better than last seasons. Far far better.

Fair point.

However I’m struggling to remember a time when a ref pulled play back for this sort of thing.

Seem to remember us having a throw in which led to a one on one pulled back for no reason whatsoever In the champions league this season though, the game escapes me at the minute

Well it would appear that by hook or crook we are in for an absolute fucking war for this title.

Bring it on

My eye got caught to him issuing so many Red cards in the 90th minute or very late in games.

Almost as not to affect the result of that game but to deny that player playing in the next two games, like a big 'gotya'.

This ref's propensity to be the star of the show irks me greatly.
The dramatic and exagerated way he awards penalties, the jokey 'hide the ball' with Aguero etc.
If it's true what he's alleged to have said to Poch, then there will be a lot more nuggets out there.

I will be delighted when he's off the pitch, but not so when he joins up with the BT Sport team to give his opinion on contentious decisions, which no doubt will have me chucking stuff at the telly.
Mike dean is a dirty dirty cheat.cant stand him.

Liverpool were pumping the ball into the box from the wings every 30 seconds at one stretch, and Soton were holding on by the skin of their teeth, so it was a surprise that it was a breakaway goal that won it!

With Firmino and the height they can put in the box from midfield and the center halves, they look dangerous on every corner, set piece and cross from the wings. This is where our distinct lack of height hurts us.

its simple and when the head of the premier league (richard scudamore) come out and said he does not want manchester city running away with it again ???? and wants somebody else winning the league as its good for football???, and the only challengers are liverpool then they simply get a little helping hand when things are tight from the officials

nobody moaned about united running away with it and winning it every season ??? arsenal invincibles team nobody moan about them ?? chelsea money and titles, the truth is clear manchester city will have beat the system never mind 19 other teams to win the league this season, unlike liverpool goalkeepers and players are turning to jelly and letting in late goals and its been happening to many times to be luck something fishy going on

Sat morn BBC breakfast sport reporter HOPES that the bus wreckers have taken a step towards winning the title,Nice bit of unbiased reporting there by the twats

I think we’re a better side than Liverpool, but if they pip us to the title then fair play to them. It’s been a monumental effort from both teams, and the best title race for a while. Having our destiny in our own hands with six games to go was a pipe dream two months ago though.
You are right Ric. But the Media are making me hate them, when I am normally such a sensible chap

they now believe they can win it, and they can, we on the other hand can take it away from them, but we are going to have to win all of our remaining games, can we do it, yes we can, will we fuckin hope so.
