Liverpool thread 2018/19

I don't give City stick for support, 3 matches in London is a lot and I think semi finals at Wembley have helped to kill the FA Cup. I was simply pointing at the fact that we are kettles and pots. Frankly I am not bothered with the empty seat arguments, just pointing out if you are having a go then look at your own attendance so I pointed it out.

Yes you do, you just had a pop about how easy it is to get tickets

The fact they are still pushing for the title could actually be a blessing. Just think if we win all our games or even better they fuck it up for themselves at this stage the outpouring of grief and rage will be truly wonderful. There will be so much candle smoke it will blot out the sun for 6 months and there will be a new ice age in Merseyside.
It’ll get rid of all the dossers on here as well.

Honest question — do Liverpool fans sing any songs that demonstrate a sense of humo(u)r, or, failing that, any self-deprecation? I’ve asked my Liverpool supporting mate this and he refuses to answer. I mean, I don’t expect cults to do anything but take themselves very, very seriously, but I thought I’d ask.
Not really we are a cult.

Thats just a fact I did not instigate the conversation I was answering a question I had been asked. I do not look at Citys attendances and comment on them, but I did defend Liverpool by pointing facts out. You lot seem to love facts on here, when it suits.

Good question, but I am fairly confident of getting a ticket if City are playing.

You sound like a bit of a dickhead to be honest. Pressure has probably got to you...go and have a lie down.

I know plenty of Liverpool fans who ‘gave up going, couldn’t get tickets’...funny that because the day trippers manage to acquire tickets and get to games, and your touts seems to have fistfuls of other people’s season tickets they sell for 3 x face value ....the Liverpool way

Joke of a club...joke of a support

Just noticed this lovely bit of info at the bottom of the rawk main page

“Most Online Today: 1,708. Most Online Ever: 12,744 (May 5, 2014, 10:28:20 PM)”

Bet their mood was a bit black that day haha

Given the time, I’d imagine that was the day of the 3-3 against Palace.

Liverpool can never have a go at city as if you have done your research you will know. Liverpool’s greatest ever attendance won’t come within the top 25 of this great club,

“You lot”
God, you’re annoying, I can’t wait till you go Full Dipper and get banned.

I honestly don’t understand footballing fans that get some sort of enjoyment at tickets not selling for rival clubs. Why would anyone care, we don’t see any money from it. Just enjoy the football, it’s the best way.

I am sure that the Man City thread on RAWK has been mentioned - but I really would recommend a visit for anyone that has a few mins of their life to throw away and has a morbid interest in psychology and would wish to observe the behaviours of cults.

CITY have really got to them and the delicious thing is that they are soooo desperate to deny that.

There is page after page of posts of them competing with each other to state in the most extreme way just how much they do not care about CITY and why that is.

100s of posts screaming about us being a nonentity and that anything that we win does not bother then because it is worthless etc. etc.

They clearly do not teach irony in scouse land - the more they deny that we matter to them - the more it shows that we clearly do.

Really is worth an occasional visit to drink in their desperation - they hate being referred to as dippers - so all the more reason to do it.

Here is a couple of examples - from the many available;

"Said before but worth repeating, I don't think they were all that "nice" a club at all in retrospect. They were just the beaten down ugly duckling football club of their city and they'd just learned to 'know their place'. They knew their limitations and had just accepted that they were probably always going to be a bit of a yo yo club - at best a stepping stone or feeder club for the big boys.

Since they got lucky they've been like the little nerd in school who always gets his face pushed in by the bullies, who suddenly gets super powers. All that bitterness that even they probably hadn't realise they had has come out and they've turned into complete tw@ts. They desperate to kick sand in the faces of everyone they feel used to do it to them. They've had almost their entire existence feeling patronised and now they just want everybody to adore them.

It would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic."

and :

"But seriously, this City thing is depressing. We would have the league clinched by now if it wasn’t for their blatant cheating. We’re having close to a perfect season and if we still don’t win, then what is the point in trying? It’s even worse that nobody cares. If the cheating club would have genuine fans then you could take some consolidation in that a group of real fans would experience happiness and joy. When no one cares, like with City, it’s even worse. I wonder if the sheikhs even know the rules of football."

They are obsessed with CITY and that in turn makes them more and more bitter to express that we do not matter

After all they are a 'proper' club and we need to know our place. - LOL

It is odd how with their history they think they are a proper club well if being a proper club means getting all English clubs banned from Europe, if your club means getting ever ground fully seated , let them have their history , me, just so glad that City have never behaved in such a manner that forced changed on the game. I have never understood how this part of their history is ignored by the press and the coach attack last makess me hate everything about the club the fans and their city ....would never set foot in liverpool.

This RAWK thread I just referred to has pages and pages of posts banging on about CITY not always selling out games and that there are 'empty blue seats' at the Etihad - it would not be like that at a 'proper club' - like theirs,

They are so desperate to decry the achievements of CITY as being worthless - because we are cheats apparently - that they have a need to latch onto anything that they can which, in their eyes, can demean our club and fan base.

Proper entitled behaviour and the constant bitching stands them out as having really sad lives and attitudes. Be piss funny if they get over 90 points and we still win the title - it will be hilarious on there (but only if you like your humour on the dark side).

I can remember a few seasons back we were travelling up from Kent for the City match and couldn't believe how many liverpool fans coaches there was on the M1 and M6 and at service stations loads on non scouse liverpool fans.....liverpool were playing at home !!!
Been to many City matches since and still to this day have never so many 'home's fans travelling to their match.....

I've seen the exact same situation with utd 'fans' coaches clogging up the transport networks!

I was actually sat next to a coach in a jam once thinking it was arsenal fans (as utd were playing arsenal at home that day). Until I saw that the chumps league final game of 1999 being played on the in coach screens!!!

Look at it from their point of view. They’ve spent a fortune & have managed to cheat (dive) & ride their luck (og’s And generous referee’s) into a position where, if they were up against a normal team, they’d be winning the league easily. Foremost in the dipper’s minds must be that SlippyG moment & their coping mechanism is to denegrate our achievements

In the first post, haven't they referenced themselves as the bully if we are the bullied nerd that obtains super-powers?

A proper club that hasn’t won the title for 29 years or a trophy for 13.

Proper.
