However, while Gallacher's behaviour was dreadful, that doesn't remotely excuse the abuse she's had either. Some of it is vile. And it also allows people like her to get away with it by saying "look at how horrible these people are".

I haven't seen the abuse yet, though I will look and I agree it isn't pleasant. The problem is though if you are in the public domain and use it to belittle people don't be surprised if there is a backlash.

Gallagher, Savage and my own personal fuckwit Jason Mohammad are all much of a muchness, they occupy a space that is untouchable, they patronise and piss on football supporters (from unfashionable clubs) in the same way toffs urinate on the sleeping homeless.

Regardless of the TV rights money and glitzy new stadiums, for Gallagher, Savage and Mohammad we're still slum people watching a slum sport.

Then maybe they will think more about the shit they say. I dont condone the vile stuff but why does IE Sam Lee not get that? Because he is very careful not to upset what is a hostile forum of fans, whilst at the same time getting his point across.

It's entirely possible to dislike both her attitude and the abuse she received subsequently. I would rather hope most would be of that view, unequivocally.

I haven’t seen anything like that but I’ve seen hundreds saying she’s out of touch & takjng the piss driving with her kids whilst pissed & I don’t see an issue with that.

Anyone saying vile stuff is destroying the argument.

I would like her to apologise to the fan base using evidence & showing that she is out of touch but is far more understanding.
